Equifind are supporting one of the world’s largest alternative asset managers, focused on delivering lasting value. Their global reach enables investment in a wide variety of dynamic sectors all focused on long term growth. Based by Green Park, London

They are hiring a Senior Financial Reporting Manager. This is a broad role where the individual will play an integral part in core financial and regulatory reporting as well as a raft of projects.

The Role

Responsible for overseeing financial management across multiple Private and Public Market legal entities within the EMEA region. Accountable for statutory reporting, regulatory compliance, audit oversight, team leadership and finance transformation across a multi-jurisdictional portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead financial reporting for EMEA legal entities, covering numerous management companies across the UK and Europe.
  • Manage and develop a team of finance professionals
  • Oversee year end and interim audits for UK and regional entities, including regulated entities across several jurisdictions.
  • Drive team development, progression and capability building to support a high-performance culture.
  • Lead the transition of multiple regulated businesses to a new regulatory framework, including full ownership of regulatory returns and ICARA submissions.
  • Act as a senior finance business partner, collaborating with Legal, Compliance and Risk on regulatory deliverables.
  • Present financial results at regional Board and Executive Committee meetings.
  • Deliver finance transformation and efficiency initiatives using digital tools and automation platforms.
  • Implement workflow tools, reporting automation and analytics solutions to improve accuracy, timeliness and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and deploy a travel and expense automation tool that significantly improved coding accuracy and delivered material cost savings.
  • Ad hoc projects, for example, Ai automation/ streamlining, transfer pricing, investment team dashboards

  • Ideally 8-12+ years PQE experience
  • Experience within Financial Services
  • Positive and proactive nature
  • Ability to deal with senior stakeholders and run a team of qualified accountants
