About Tripadvisor

The Tripadvisor Group connects people to experiences worth sharing, and aims to be the world’s most trusted source for travel and experiences. We leverage our brands, technology, and capabilities to connect our global audience with partners through rich content, travel guidance, and two-sided marketplaces for experiences, accommodations, restaurants and other travel categories. The subsidiaries of Tripadvisor, Inc. (Nasdaq: TRIP) include a portfolio of travel brands and businesses, including Tripadvisor, Viator, and TheFork.

About the Role

At Viator, our finance team scales through technology, not manual effort. We don’t just compile spreadsheets; we build the data infrastructure required to run a high-performance global marketplace.

As Senior Manager FP&A, you’ll own planning, forecasting, and cost governance for Experiences’ global operating expenses and headcount, and serve as the finance partner to teams across the organization. Working with leadership, you’ll modernize how finance operates — using data tools and AI to take the manual work off the team’s plate so they can spend more time on strategic partnering and growth. This is a people-leadership role by design: once you’ve ramped and assessed the function, you’ll hire and manage our first dedicated analyst.

Job Location

Remote UK, Poland or Portugal

This role is a remote position in the UK, Poland or Portugal. Occasional travel to company offices as necessary.

What You’ll Do

  • Business Partnering: Be the finance partner to every function in Experiences — Engineering, Product, Data, Marketing, Customer Care, Payments, Supply, and more — delivering clear financial views, leading recurring business reviews, and shaping C-suite resource decisions.
  • Planning & Forecasting: Own annual planning and the regular forecast cycle for Experiences’ fixed costs and global headcount — including the executive, CFO-pack, and Board/earnings reporting that informs quarterly decisions — partnering with accounting through monthly close.
  • Spend & Headcount Approvals: Own the approval process for procurement, vendor, and headcount requisition requests.
  • Data & Risk: Keep headcount and spend data clean across systems, and model risk so leadership sees changes early.
  • Reporting & Automation: Replace manual reporting with self-serve dashboards, automation, and AI.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Finance is being reshaped by AI and automation — and we intend to lead that change. Your leadership is invested in your learning and development as we build a finance team at the front of this shift.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience: 7+ years in FP&A or strategic finance, with strong financial modeling skills and ideally ownership of large cost and headcount budgets in tech or e-commerce.
  • Planning Systems: Hands-on with financial planning systems like Workday Financial Planning or Hyperion/Essbase — and quick to learn new ones.
  • Data & AI Fluency: Working SQL and comfort with modern data tools — BigQuery, Python, Apps Script. Curiosity is what matters most; AI can support and accelerate the rest.
  • Builder Mentality: A track record of turning messy, manual processes into simple, automated ones.
  • Communication & Influence: Crisp, concise materials that give executives what they need to decide — and the relationship-building to bring partners with you.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and decision-making in day-to-day work.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively with a global-first mindset

Nice to Have

  • Marketplace Context: Analyzing two-sided marketplace dynamics, multi-currency impacts, or contingent staffing economics.
