About Global Compliance & Reporting

Global Compliance & Reporting (GCR) is one of EY's five tax service lines. Our GCR professionals help businesses meet the demands of tax reporting, tax compliance, and tax risk management. Many of our engagements involve clients undergoing wider tax transformation and operating model change programmes.

Our team works with a wide range of businesses to develop and implement effective, practical, and sustainable approaches to managing tax compliance and reporting in a global environment.

The opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager to join our growing Global Tax Managed Services team in London. This is a senior leadership opportunity to work with leading multinational organizations, shaping and delivering complex global tax compliance, reporting, managed services, and transformation programmes.

Working closely with Partners and senior client stakeholders, including Heads of Tax, Finance Directors, CFO organizations, and global tax teams, you will play a key role in building trusted client relationships, leading high-value engagements, and helping clients respond to an increasingly complex tax landscape.

You will collaborate with EY teams across the UK, India, and Continental Europe, with opportunities to support wider teams in Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Hungary, and France. As part of this energetic and diverse team, you will lead international delivery teams, develop innovative client solutions, and contribute directly to the continued growth of our Global Tax Managed Services practice.

This is an exciting time to join our specialized team, as we continue to see strong demand for our services and significant growth opportunities across the global tax managed services market.

Your key responsibilities

Client leadership and strategic engagement management

  • Lead complex multinational tax compliance and reporting engagements, with responsibility for client relationships, service delivery, team leadership, and commercial outcomes.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders across global organizations, acting as a senior point of contact for key engagement matters.
  • Work with Partners and senior leadership to shape client strategy, manage delivery priorities, and resolve complex engagement issues.
  • Provide strategic oversight of large global delivery teams, including junior colleagues and offshore team members.
  • Set clear objectives and expectations for team members, supporting performance, coaching, and development across international teams.
  • Manage engagement governance, quality, service levels, and escalation processes across multiple jurisdictions.

Business development, pursuits, and market growth

  • Work with the Partner group to provide senior support on large pursuits and proposal activities in response to client RFPs.
  • Lead global pricing exercises, contribute to strategic negotiation, and represent EY in client pitches and presentations.
  • Own and drive your own sales pipeline across mid-sized and smaller pursuits.
  • Support the client business case for change, including transformation and managed services opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities for additional EY services and extensions to EY outsourcing services for existing clients.
  • Contribute to innovative market-facing solutions that support the growth of the Global Tax Managed Services practice.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
