Senior Manager, Global eBilling

A large global law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Global eBilling to lead and develop its global eBilling support function. This is a strategic leadership opportunity for an individual with deep eBilling expertise, strong people management capabilities, and a passion for driving operational excellence, process improvement, and technology innovation.

The Opportunity

Reporting into senior leadership, you will oversee multiple global eBilling teams responsible for inventory management, timekeeper maintenance, and operational support. You will play a key role in shaping the future direction of the function, driving automation initiatives, improving reporting capabilities, and ensuring the delivery of a high-quality service to stakeholders across an international business.

This role offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence global processes, technology strategy, and team performance across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop global eBilling operations teams, ensuring the delivery of service against defined KPIs and SLAs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across eBilling processes, workflows, and reporting capabilities.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency, quality, and service delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and leverage technology to improve performance.
  • Collaborate with finance, technology, and business stakeholders to deliver strategic projects and operational enhancements.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of managers and supervisors across multiple jurisdictions and time zones.
  • Produce regular management reporting and performance insights for senior leadership.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

About You

You will be a seasoned eBilling professional with a proven track record of leading large-scale global teams within a complex professional services, legal, or corporate environment.

Key requirements include:

  • Extensive experience within eBilling operations and support.
  • Strong leadership experience managing sizeable, internationally distributed teams.
  • Demonstrable success driving process improvement, automation, and operational transformation initiatives.
  • Experience working with leading eBilling platforms such as Legal Tracker, TyMetrix 360, Collaborati, CounselLink, Passport, or similar systems.
  • Strong technology focus with the ability to leverage reporting and financial systems to improve team performance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organised, analytical, and solutions-focused approach.
  • Ability to thrive within a fast-paced, evolving global environment.
