Role Overview πŸš€

As we continue to grow across the Zellis Group, we're looking for an exceptional Senior Manager, Group People Operations to transform and modernise how we deliver People services across our business.

This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll shape the future of People Operations across multiple countries, brands and legal entities. You'll lead the development of a scalable, technology-enabled and AI-first People Operations function that delivers an outstanding employee experience whilst driving efficiency, compliance and operational excellence.

You'll work at the heart of our People transformation agenda, partnering closely with Talent Acquisition, Reward, Payroll, Finance, Technology and People Business Partners to simplify processes, unlock automation opportunities and ensure our People services are fit for the future.

Responsibilities 🀘

  • Oversee end-to-end employee lifecycle processes across the Group, from onboarding through to offboarding.
  • Drive consistency and standardisation across multiple businesses and geographies.
  • Ensure strong controls, governance and compliance across all People transactions.
  • Own the effectiveness and continuous improvement of our HR technology landscape.
  • Lead the optimisation and development of HCM and HR systems.
  • Partner with Technology teams and external vendors to deliver integrations, enhancements and improved user experiences.
  • Champion adoption of new People technologies across the business.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Implement AI-enabled solutions, self-service tools and intelligent workflows.
  • Drive innovation whilst maintaining strong data governance and compliance standards.
  • Measure and communicate the impact of automation through tangible business and employee outcomes.
  • Ensure high standards of People data quality, integrity and governance.
  • Lead audit readiness and regulatory compliance activities across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Develop service dashboards and meaningful operational insights that support business decision-making.
  • Lead the operational delivery of People-related transformation programmes, integrations and organisational change initiatives.
  • Simplify and standardise processes across multiple brands and locations.
  • Act as a trusted adviser on operational design, service delivery and future People operating models.

What are we looking for? πŸ”Ž

We're looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach.

  • Significant leadership experience within People Operations, HR Shared Services or HR Operations.
  • Experience operating across both UK and international markets.
  • A track record of leading geographically dispersed teams.
  • Strong experience delivering HR transformation programmes.
  • Expertise in employee lifecycle management, governance and service delivery.
  • Experience implementing and optimising HRIS/HCM platforms.
  • Proven success improving processes, driving efficiency and introducing automation.
  • Hands-on experience leveraging AI, workflow tools or technology-enabled improvements within HR operations.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including engaging with Executive and Senior Leadership teams.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching and team development capabilities.
