  • Track adherence to and implementation of the hotel and crew program into the ship general arrangement, working with partners to gather feedback and solutions as needed to maintain operational functional and quality standards.
  • Liaise with the Hotel & HR Operations teams throughout the new build process to solicit continual feedback to design evolutions, provide regular progress reports and mediate between overlapping program requirements.
  • Review and coordinate operational feedback on technical drawings, plans, materials, and furnishings, ensuring requirements are incorporated throughout the design, construction, testing, and commissioning phases.
  • Responsible for developing, documenting and ongoing document control of the hotel and crew equipment specifications and Owners Supply and Owners Furnished Equipment Lists to support the set-up and opening of the ship for all hotel and crew areas.
  • Responsible for validating the content of hotel and crew area requests for modification and agreements of modification in partnership with WDI project management.
  • Closely collaborate with WDI project team including project managers, consultants, site superintendents, regulatory bodies and shipyard teams during the build. Regularly visit and inspect the ship during construction, mockups and test and trials.
  • Coordinate hotel and crew operational readiness efforts. Providing planning and communication support for the following pre-launch activities; vessel commissioning team set up, crew training and costuming, logistics arrangements for crew embarkation, and operational completion of crew and guest spaces.
  • Input to the generation of the ship specific AMOS Maintenance & Procurement database and uploading of components and part specific data, driving the document handover process and development of maintenance schedules using fleet wide methods and learnings.
  • Identify opportunities for business process improvements within new build projects and dry dock initiatives to improve the quality of services delivered.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
