About The Role
New Markets is one of EE's most exciting growth areas, focused on building new revenue streams and creating deeper customer relationships through innovative products and services.
As Senior Commercial Manager, you'll lead the commercial strategy for our Insurance, Protection and Subscription categories. You'll have end-to-end accountability for category performance, identifying new growth opportunities and delivering commercial results across a strategically important part of the business.
Working closely with teams across Commercial, Product, Marketing, Finance and our sales channels, you'll help shape the future direction of these categories while balancing short-term performance with long-term growth ambitions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and deliver the commercial strategy for Insurance, Protection and Subscription products and services
- Own category performance across revenue, margin, customer growth and commercial targets
- Identify and evaluate new propositions, partnerships and growth opportunities
- Lead commercial planning, trading and performance optimisation activities
- Work with Marketing, Product, Finance and Channel teams to deliver category objectives
- Drive pricing, promotional and investment decisions to maximise commercial outcomes
- Support the delivery of great customer experiences across digital and physical channels
- Develop performance reporting and insight frameworks to inform strategic decisions
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing commercial team
- Influence senior stakeholders and contribute to the wider New Markets strategy

Essential Skills / Experience
- Proven commercial leadership experience within a subscription, recurring revenue or consumer services business.
- Strong track record of delivering revenue, customer and profit growth through commercial strategy and category ownership.
- Proven ability to develop high-performing teams while leading complex cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders.
Desirable Skills / Experience
- Experience within telecoms, insurance, fintech or financial services.
- Experience launching or scaling consumer propositions.
- Strong pricing, trading and commercial performance management experience.
- Experience managing P&L performance and investment decisions.
- Experience identifying and developing new growth opportunities.
