Senior Manager, International Tax Advisory & Projects

Location: London

Role Type: Permanent

Work Setup: Hybrid - 3 days in the office

The Role

Our client is a leading global financial services organisation providing banking and investment solutions to corporate and institutional clients across international markets. The business operates in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment, offering employees the opportunity to work with experienced teams on complex financial solutions.

What you'll do

  • Provide commercial tax advisory support across global markets, commodities and investment banking, reviewing new products, transactions and business initiatives.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the Front Office, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Operations and HR to deliver practical tax advice and manage tax risk.
  • Lead transfer pricing activities, including policy development, documentation, implementation and engagement with HMRC, auditors and external advisers.
  • Support strategic projects including mergers, acquisitions, restructures, legal entity changes and the implementation of new tax legislation.
  • Oversee international tax compliance, including FATCA, CRS and other client tax reporting obligations, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
  • Maintain tax governance by developing policies and procedures, monitoring regulatory changes, delivering training and ensuring compliance with UK and international tax requirements.

What you bring

  • 10+ years' experience working within Tax, with a background in Investment Banking and/or Commodities.
  • Proven in-house Front Office tax advisory experience within a complex financial services environment.
  • Accounting or tax qualification (ACA, CTA or equivalent) is essential.
  • Strong transfer pricing experience, including policy development, documentation and implementation.
  • Experience managing client tax reporting requirements, including FATCA and CRS.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, analytical and communication skills, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
