Senior Tax Manager - International Tax Reporting & Compliance

Location: UK - Flexible working can be discussed

Contract: 12 months (high likelihood of extension)

The Senior Manager, International Tax Reporting & Compliance, is a key member of the International Tax team responsible for non-US tax matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare quarterly US GAAP tax provisions (FAS109/FIN18).
  • Prepare annual current and deferred tax true-ups.
  • Maintain FIN48/FAS5 provisions.
  • Manage and review direct tax compliance, including corporate tax, withholding tax, stamp duty, property tax, and related filings through external service providers.
  • Support Pillar 2 compliance and Public Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR).
  • Review corporate tax calculations and assess financial statement impacts under IFRS and US GAAP.
  • Collaborate with the US Transfer Pricing team on documentation and filings.
  • Coordinate with senior tax team members to ensure accurate and efficient international tax processes.
  • Calculate advance corporate tax payments and related filings.
  • Support tax planning and audit activities as required.
  • Build strong relationships with Accounting, Legal, Treasury, FP&A, and other stakeholders.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members.
  • Improve and automate tax processes using tools such as Alteryx, Qlik, and other technologies.

  • Recognized accounting qualification with 6+ years of relevant experience in practice or industry.
  • Strong corporate income tax knowledge.
  • Experience with quarterly tax provisioning.
  • Solid data management and automation skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and balance stakeholder needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with US GAAP tax reporting (FAS109/FIN18).
  • Knowledge of OneSource Tax Provision and Alteryx.
  • Understanding of OECD and EU tax developments, including BEPS, DAC6, and Public CbCR.
