Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The Role and Candidate

This is a senior regional commercial leadership role within POP MART's growing European Key Account and Channels team.

Working closely with the Head of Merchandising Europe, European leadership, and international HQ, you will take responsibility for developing POP MART's Key Account strategy and building a high-performing B2B channel portfolio across Europe. You will act as a senior commercial partner to major retail customers, developing relationships with senior buyers and decision makers while identifying new opportunities for sustainable growth.

The role requires a strong combination of strategic commercial thinking, Key Account management, financial judgement, negotiation capability, and stakeholder management skills. You will be expected to understand the detail of account performance while maintaining oversight of channel strategy, profitability, inventory, commercial risk, and long-term brand positioning.

You should be comfortable leading complex negotiations covering wholesale margins, rebates, payment terms, returns, promotional support, and marketing contributions. You will also need to work closely with Planning, Supply Chain, and Finance to manage forecasting, inventory health, credit exposure, fulfilment, and overall account profitability.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience managing major retail or B2B accounts across European markets, ideally within a fast-growing consumer, lifestyle, fashion, beauty, luxury, toys, collectibles, or FMCG environment. Experience managing multi-country account portfolios and developing strategic partnerships with major European retail groups would be particularly valuable.

You will thrive in this role if you are commercially driven, strategic, analytical, and highly collaborative, with the ability to build senior relationships and influence stakeholders across different functions, markets, and cultures. You should be comfortable operating in a fast-moving international environment, making commercially sound decisions under pressure, and balancing short-term opportunities with long-term brand and channel health.
