Purpose of role

The Senior Manager, Marketing Operations – EMEA is responsible for leading the execution and operational delivery of marketing across the EMEA region, translating enterprise strategy and business priorities into high-impact, commercially relevant marketing outcomes. This role partners closely with senior business leaders, Regional leadership, and global marketing to deliver integrated marketing activity across onshore, nearshore, and offshore delivery models, ensuring the value of proximity, domain expertise, and global scale are clearly and credibly articulated.

This is a hands-on, execution-led leadership role, ideal for a senior marketer with deep experience in BPO or managed services environments who thrives in complex, matrixed organisations.

The successful candidate will bring a modern, AI-enabled approach to marketing operations, leveraging generative AI, automation, and data-driven insights to improve marketing effectiveness, accelerate content development, optimise campaigns, and enhance the way marketing supports business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day marketing operations across the region
  • Translate business priorities into executable marketing plans, campaigns, events, and content
  • Orchestrate internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and on budget
  • Act as the primary operational backstop for EMEA marketing execution
  • Champion the adoption of AI-powered marketing practices, identifying opportunities to improve productivity, campaign performance, content creation, audience engagement, and reporting
  • Evaluate and implement AI-enabled tools and workflows that enhance marketing execution while maintaining brand consistency, quality, governance, and compliance standards
  • Partner closely with UK/EMEA-based business leaders to:
    • Shape and execute go-to-market narratives
    • Support priority growth initiatives
    • Translate complex service offerings into clear, compelling marketing outputs
  • Bring strong understanding of hybrid delivery models, including the role and value of onshore operations alongside nearshore and offshore delivery
  • Accountability for overall thought leadership outcomes across the region
  • Own execution of business- and growth-led thought leadership, including:
    • Client-relevant POVs
    • Capability narratives
    • Event and sales-enabled content
  • Personally draft, edit, and refine content as required
  • Work closely with subject matter experts to extract insight and translate it into publishable material
  • Translate emerging market trends, including AI and digital transformation, into compelling thought leadership, client-facing content, and market narratives
  • Collaborate with Digital & PR leadership on narrative-led and reputation-focused thought leadership, amplification, and external visibility
  • Events & Field Marketing
    • Own planning and execution of industry events, executive roundtables, and client forums
    • Manage vendors, logistics, budgets, and post-event follow-up
    • Partner with sales and leadership teams to define objectives and measure outcomes
  • Vendor & Partner Management
    • Manage agencies, freelancers, designers, content partners, and event vendors
    • Own briefing, quality control, timelines, and spend discipline
    • Ensure partners operate as extensions of the marketing function, not drivers of strategy
  • Collaboration & Integration
    • Work closely with Regional Digital, Brand & PR leadership to ensure alignment across campaigns, content, PR, and digital amplification
    • Partner with global marketing to ensure consistency with enterprise narrative and brand standards
    • Partner with business leaders, digital teams, and external providers to identify and scale innovative marketing technologies, including AI-enabled solutions that support growth and operational excellence
    • Represent marketing operations confidently in regional leadership forums

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
