Senior Marketing Operations Manager
Location: London / Dublin (2/3 days a week in the office, Dublin office every other week)
Salary: £85,000 + Benefits
The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Operations Manager to join a large, fast-paced consumer business and help strengthen how the marketing function plans, operates and invests.
This role will suit someone who is comfortable bringing structure to complexity, improving ways of working and helping senior marketing teams make better decisions around priorities, budgets and resources.
You’ll work closely with leaders across Marketing, Finance, Procurement and Commercial teams to ensure activity is well planned, efficiently delivered and aligned to business priorities.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your focus will be on improving the operational effectiveness of the marketing function, with responsibility across planning, budget management, governance and ways of working.
- Help create greater visibility of marketing investment
- Strengthen planning processes
- Ensure teams have the right frameworks and tools to deliver effectively
- Play a key role in identifying efficiencies, improving cross-functional working and supporting senior leaders with clear, commercially focused reporting

Key Responsibilities
- Leading marketing planning and budget management across the function
- Improving visibility of spend, forecasts and investment priorities
- Working closely with Finance and Procurement on budgets, contracts and agency relationships
- Developing effective governance and ways of working for major marketing activity
- Improving processes to make the function simpler, faster and more effective
- Creating clear reporting for senior marketing stakeholders
- Supporting resource planning and prioritisation across teams
- Identifying opportunities to improve marketing efficiency and effectiveness
- Building strong relationships across Marketing, Finance, Procurement and Commercial teams
- Leading and developing the Marketing Operations team
Who Are You?
- Experienced marketing operations leader with a strong understanding of how large marketing functions operate
- Strong budget management and financial acumen
- Experience working in a large consumer, retail or similarly complex organisation
- Strong understanding of marketing planning and delivery
- Experience improving processes and ways of working
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders across multiple functions
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
- Experience managing agencies, suppliers or commercial partnerships
- Strong people leadership and team development experience
- The ability to balance operational discipline with pace and flexibility
