What to Expect

Senior Manager, McLaren Racing Integration will act as the primary interface between McLaren Automotive and McLaren Racing, ensuring both organisations are aligned, connected and positioned to maximise the value of the McLaren brand through a unified approach to opportunities, customer engagement, experiences, storytelling and strategic initiatives.

Working across the full scope of the MAL Commercial organisation and MRL Formula 1, IndyCar and WEC commercial teams, the role will identify, develop and coordinate opportunities that leverage McLaren Automotive and McLaren Racing assets, people, technology, partnerships, heritage, channels and experiences to support MAL commercial, customer and brand objectives.

The role will build trusted relationships across both businesses, ensuring priorities are understood, opportunities are identified early and collaborative initiatives are delivered effectively. Acting as a central point of coordination and influence, the role will support the successful implementation of McLaren’s evolving brand strategy and help ensure MAL and MRL operate as one connected enterprise where it creates value for customers, retailers, partners and the broader McLaren brand.

A core purpose of the role is to convert Racing integration into measurable value for MAL through increased customer lifetime value, higher engagement frequency, greater retailer and car club participation, stronger partner activation, enhanced access to MRL events and channels, and new revenue opportunities across merchandising, subscription, experience and joint-event monetisation models.

What You'll Do

Automotive & Racing Integration

  • Act as the primary MAL point of contact for MRL, developing trusted relationships and effective ways of working across both organisations.
  • Ensure strategic priorities, plans and key activities are understood, aligned and communicated to relevant stakeholders, creating greater visibility and collaboration between businesses.
  • Facilitate regular planning, governance and communication forums that support effective decision making, prioritisation and execution.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and connector, helping stakeholders navigate complex structures and ensuring the right people are engaged at the right time.
  • Create a clear integration rhythm that enables MAL to access relevant MRL opportunities early enough to shape customer, commercial, retail and partner activation plans.

Opportunity Identification, Pipeline & Business Case Development

  • Identify, evaluate and coordinate opportunities that leverage MAL and MRL programmes, assets, experiences, people, technology, partnerships and heritage to create value for both organisations.
  • Maintain a forward-looking pipeline of Automotive-to-Racing and Racing-to-Automotive opportunities, ensuring initiatives are prioritised, developed and delivered in line with business objectives.
  • Work proactively with stakeholders to ensure opportunities are identified early and not missed as a result of organisational silos, competing priorities or lack of ownership.
  • Develop recommendations and business cases where appropriate to support investment, prioritisation and resource allocation decisions.
  • Assess opportunities through a value lens, including customer LTV, incremental revenue, brand equity, partner engagement, retailer activation potential and operational feasibility.

Customer Clubs, Retailer Access & Community Activation

  • Develop a structured framework for appropriate customer car club and retailer access to selected MRL events, experiences and channels.
  • Coordinate with Retail, Client Experience, Motorsport, MRL Commercial and Event teams to design customer and retailer engagement moments that strengthen the ownership community.
  • Support initiatives that increase customer participation in Racing-led experiences, including hospitality, paddock, heritage, track, simulator, fan zone, factory and driver/team access where appropriate.
  • Ensure club and retailer activation opportunities are planned, prioritised and measured against MAL objectives, including retention, advocacy, lead generation, clienteling and repeat engagement.
  • Protect the exclusivity and operational integrity of MRL experiences while ensuring MAL stakeholders can access relevant opportunities through a clear and governed process.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
