Senior Manager, Media Architect

As a Senior Manager, you will hold a broad remit of responsibilities, which may flex depending on the specific client engagement. You will provide technical leadership and architectural vision to multi-capability and often multi-geography teams, ensuring the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and secure technology solutions that deliver business-critical outcomes for our clients. You will apply your deep technical expertise and architectural understanding, coupled with a strong grasp of the media industry (and wider TMT experience), to support clients in navigating their complex technical challenges.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the architectural design and technical strategy for successful technology implementations within the Technology, Media and Telecoms sector, ensuring solutions add significant value to our client’s end-users. This involves guiding multi-skilled technical teams from both client organisations and broader Deloitte.
  • Translating complex business requirements into comprehensive technical architectures and solution designs, defining technology roadmaps, and ensuring alignment with client strategic objectives and industry best practices.
  • Applying a profound understanding of how market shifts and emerging technologies will impact on our TMT/Media clients and proactively shaping technical strategies and internal capabilities to address these challenges and opportunities.
  • Providing architectural governance and technical oversight to engineering, development, and test teams, ensuring adherence to architectural principles, standards, and patterns throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Collaborating closely with key internal and senior client stakeholders, effectively communicating complex technical concepts, architectural decisions, and their business implications with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Leading the technical solutioning aspects of business development, including pre-sales activities, bid preparations, and client presentations. This involves showcasing our deep technical knowledge and architectural experience whilst building trusted relationships with potential clients.
  • Participating fully within Deloitte to assist the growth of our TMT/Media Technology Architecture practice, mentoring and guiding junior technical architects and colleagues, and supporting the firm’s commitment to creating a more diverse and inclusive culture.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
