As Senior Manager Media Strategy & Governance, you will play a pivotal role in shaping media effectiveness across Europe, working with local market teams, media agencies, digital partners and key stakeholders to create a more aligned, data-driven and performance-focused media ecosystem. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact within a complex, multi-market environment while working for a business renowned for innovation, creativity and collaboration.
Your new role
Reporting into the European marketing function, you will lead the strategic governance of media investments across multiple European markets, ensuring alignment with category priorities and commercial objectives.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading media investment governance frameworks across European markets to improve effectiveness, efficiency and strategic alignment.
- Overseeing cross-channel media planning and coordination to identify and eliminate duplication while maximising performance.
- Driving quarterly governance reviews with local market teams to ensure planning consistency, KPI alignment and best practice adoption.
- Monitoring media performance, analysing investment effectiveness and using data-driven insights to optimise decision-making.
- Building strong relationships with media agencies, platform partners and external stakeholders to enhance planning quality and operational effectiveness.
- Overseeing media reporting operations, analytics coordination and data quality to provide clear visibility of performance across the organisation.
- Collaborating closely with marketing, strategy, digital and regional teams to ensure media investments support broader business goals.
- Managing and supporting one direct report while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong blend of strategic media expertise, commercial awareness and stakeholder management capability.
You will ideally have:
- Significant experience in paid media, media strategy or integrated media planning within consumer-focused industries, with both agency and in-house experience.
- Proven experience managing and optimising medium to large-scale media investments across multiple European markets.
- Strong knowledge of media governance, planning frameworks and performance measurement.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive strategic recommendations.
- Experience influencing and aligning multiple stakeholders across complex organisational structures.
- Outstanding communication, presentation and relationship management skills.
- The confidence and credibility to operate independently within a fast-paced, evolving environment.

What you'll get in return
This role is offered on a temporary assignment until the end of July 2027, to cover maternity leave.
- £270 - £350 Per Day (PAYE) / Inside IR35
- Weybridge based, flexible / hybrid working
