INTRODUCTION & ROLE PURPOSE

Acumetis was born from the union of leaders in life sciences strategy and patient-focused solutions. Together, we combine decades of experience across scientific insights, commercial strategy, launch excellence, and healthcare innovation to tackle the complex challenges that shape the future of medicine. We partner with leaders to solve high-stakes problems, uncover hidden opportunities, and translate scientific, clinical, and health economic evidence into actionable insights. By connecting expertise across functions, life sciences organisations can make smarter decisions, strengthen value communication, and deliver therapies to the patients who need them most. When you reframe what’s possible, scientific evidence becomes meaningful insight, complex data becomes compelling narratives, and innovation reaches the people who need it most.

As a Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading medical writing and HTA-focused engagements across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare sectors. At this level, you are expected to demonstrate advanced scientific leadership, deep expertise in medical writing through demonstratable experience of having supported HTA submissions, value proposition development, publication writing and market access strategy and evidence synthesis-associated written deliverables.

Senior Managers own large programmes end-to-end, ensuring excellence across scientific communications, HTA submissions, value evidence development, and publication strategy while managing cross-functional teams and maintaining strong client partnerships. You will influence internal thinking, shape scientific methodologies, and provide leadership that strengthens Acumetis' scientific communications and market access capabilities.

This role requires advanced leadership, scientific credibility, and a passion for translating complex evidence into clear, impactful communications for diverse audiences including HTA agencies, payers, healthcare professionals, policymakers, and industry stakeholders. This role builds the capabilities required for progression to Associate Director, where strategic ownership of major client accounts, scientific leadership, commercial responsibility, and thought leadership become core expectations.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS

Core Knowledge

  • Translate complex clinical, economic, and real-world evidence into compelling, stakeholder-focused narratives tailored to payer, HTA, healthcare professional, and industry audiences.
  • Embed Medical Writing, HTA, and Market Access expertise into client engagements, ensuring deliverables effectively communicate evidence and support strategic decision-making.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
