About the Role
The Senior Manager of Product drives the successful delivery of both third-party and proprietary, AI-powered digital solutions by owning product vision, managing the product backlog, and maximizing value delivered in each iteration. Serving as the voice of the customer, this role partners closely with business stakeholders, end users, data scientists, and product development teams to translate complex needs into clear features, model-driven capabilities, and user stories. This position operates in an outcome-driven environment and balances business value, customer impact, technical feasibility, and model performance. The role also helps teams navigate the unique evaluation cycles and responsible AI considerations associated with agentic AI solutions across a global landscape. Occasional travel may be required based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, refine, and communicate the product vision and roadmap, including agentic AI capabilities, aligning outcomes to business strategy and customer needs
- Own and continuously groom a prioritized product backlog across development, data, and evaluation workstreams to ensure clarity, feasibility, and value delivery
- Translate business needs into actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria, including AI quality measures (e.g., accuracy, latency, robustness, error/hallucination thresholds where applicable)
- Lead stakeholder engagement and expectation management across business leaders, customers, and cross-functional delivery teams, including transparent communication of model capabilities, limitations, and trade-offs
- Partner with Scrum teams throughout sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, adapting Agile delivery to accommodate research spikes, model training/fine-tuning cycles, and evaluation-driven workflows
- Drive incremental value delivery through experimentation, prototyping, and feedback loops; use data-informed decision-making to guide prioritization and roadmap adjustments
- Make timely decisions under uncertainty, balancing scope, schedule, resources, model performance, speed, and cost while removing blockers and resolving ambiguity
- Conduct or leverage market research, competitive benchmarking, and user feedback to inform product direction, including AI/ML and LLM capability trends
- Support internal communication and enablement through documentation, updates, and education that help teams and stakeholders understand AI functionality and responsible use
- Monitor product and model performance post-release (including drift and degradation) and lead continuous improvement using emerging AI and responsible AI best practices

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
