Senior Manager – Operating Model Design (Technology, Media & Telecommunications)

Salary: £90,000 – £115,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits
Location: London (Hybrid)

The Opportunity

A leading global consulting firm is looking to hire an experienced Senior Manager to join its growing Enterprise Transformation practice, specialising in Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT).

This is an opportunity to work with some of the world's leading technology and media organisations, helping them design and deliver large-scale transformation programmes that improve operating models, simplify ways of working and enable sustainable growth.
You'll lead high-profile client engagements, shape transformation strategies, and work directly with senior stakeholders to deliver complex business change across areas including product, engineering, cloud, commercial and customer operations.

The Role

As a Senior Manager, you'll be responsible for leading multiple transformation programmes from strategy through to implementation, helping clients redesign operating models, improve governance, optimise organisational structures and deliver technology-enabled change.
You'll play a key role in growing the Enterprise Transformation capability through client delivery, business development and mentoring junior consultants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complex enterprise transformation and operating model engagements across Technology, Media & Telecommunications clients.
  • Design and implement Target Operating Models (TOMs) covering organisation, governance, processes, capabilities, sourcing and delivery models.
  • Lead large-scale business transformation programmes resulting from technology change, M&A, new product launches, cost optimisation, outsourcing and organisational redesign.
  • Assess current operating models and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, governance and performance.
  • Manage programme governance including planning, RAID management, dependency tracking, benefits realisation and SteerCo reporting.
  • Facilitate workshops and present recommendations to C-suite and senior client stakeholders.
  • Lead multidisciplinary consulting teams and develop junior consultants.
  • Support proposals, business development activities and thought leadership within the practice.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
