About The Industrial Solutions Segment
TE operates through two customer facing Segments: The Industrial Solutions Segment (IS) and Transportation Solutions Segment (TS).
The Industrial Solutions Segment delivers products and solutions used in a variety of equipment architectures within Data Centres Industrial Automation, Robotics, Battery Energy Storage Systems, EV Charging Infrastructure, Power Transmission, Medical Devices, Aerospace & Defence, home appliances, and other markets. Our connectivity and sensor solutions allow our customers to meet their current challenges and drive future innovations in their markets.
This Operations Strategy Manager will report to the Senior Director Operations Strategy for the Industrial Solutions Segment.
This position can be based in most locations in EMEA, with travel expected less than 30% of the time to meet colleagues and clients, attend industry events, etc.

As a member of the Industrial Solutions Operations Strategy team, you will contribute to our growth strategy, competitiveness, and operations performance by working on strategic decisions and key business issues. The end goal is to make operations the key reason why we succeed in the market.

Job Requirements
- Solve complex operations problems by building a robust hypothesis and plan in collaboration with the business unit teams.
- Develop strategies and approaches to fulfill complex operational project assignments in creative and meaningful ways.
- Support development of robust strategic plan.
- Benchmark and identify key trends across markets, industries, and competitors that affect our operations in various businesses.
- Create analytical models to address key operations questions and translate output into clear stories.
- Lead the overall fact-based creation and communication process.
- Develop playbooks and maturity models to standardize best in class practices and train teams on those topics.
- Establish, monitor and coordinate effective execution of various projects using a strong project management framework leading to successful execution.
- Contribute to the professional development of larger operations team.

What Your Background Should Look Like
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance or engineering with 13+ years’ experience including Operations experience in a manufacturing environment and 3+ years in consulting. Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
- Experience in strategy formulation and implementation within a complex organization.
- Experience in managing strategy and strategy implementation projects through their lifecycles.
- Experience working at a top tier General Management Consulting Firm and serving diversified industrials or high-tech clients.
- Having work experience in manufacturing of 5 years focused on problem solving and process development or supply chain will be an added advantage.

- Ability to structure work, manage strategy projects, and provide thought leadership to the team members.
- Proficient in sourcing and analyzing complex data.

- Excellent active listening skills.
- Thought leadership and business sense.
- Ability to architect and create insights through strategy tools, frameworks, and processes.

- Experience managing individual contributors.
- Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization.
- Able to work with and through others and to influence others to move toward a common vision or goal.
- Being hands-on, staying connected to the ongoing strategy deployment and helping manage implementation when necessary.

- Orientation towards people development, tailoring projects and work priorities to help nurture talent and extended through regular coaching and feedback.
