About Even Realities

Even Realities is an innovative technology company developing AI-powered smart eyewear that combines advanced technology with refined design. We are building the next generation of intelligent eyewear and expanding our presence across key global optical retail markets.

We are looking for a senior optical channel sales professional to drive our European optical retail business, establish strategic partnerships with leading optical retail groups, and accelerate sales growth across our retail network.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Channel Development

  • Develop and execute the European optical channel strategy to drive market expansion, distribution growth, and revenue performance.
  • Identify, approach, and establish strategic partnerships with leading optical retail groups, including major eyewear retailers and optical chains such as Kering Eyewear and EssilorLuxottica's retail network.
  • Lead end-to-end channel expansion, including partner acquisition, commercial negotiations, contract development, onboarding, and retail rollout.

Commercial Negotiation & Partnership Management

  • Lead commercial negotiations with key retail partners, covering distribution agreements, commercial terms, pricing, sales targets, marketing support, and retail execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across retail groups, regional management teams, and store networks.
  • Develop joint business plans with strategic partners to drive sustainable, long-term growth.

Retail Network Management & Sales Growth

  • Oversee the performance of existing optical retail partners and store networks, ensuring effective product distribution, in-store execution, and sales performance.
  • Develop initiatives to improve sell-through, store productivity, product visibility, and overall retail conversion.
  • Monitor channel performance, analyze sales data, identify growth opportunities, and implement corrective actions to achieve revenue targets.
  • Work closely with retail partners on merchandising, promotional activities, product launches, and in-store brand positioning.

Retail Training & Enablement

  • Develop and implement training programs for retail staff to strengthen product knowledge, brand understanding, and sales capabilities.
  • Equip store teams with effective sales tools, product demonstrations, and customer engagement approaches tailored to smart eyewear.
  • Conduct regular retail visits and performance reviews to ensure consistent execution across markets.

Team Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Build, lead, and develop the European optical channel sales team as the business scales.
  • Establish channel KPIs, sales targets, operating processes, and performance management mechanisms.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, operations, and customer support teams to ensure strong retail execution and partner satisfaction.
  • Provide regular business updates, sales forecasts, and market insights to senior management.

Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of experience in optical industry sales, channel development, or key account management, with a strong track record in European optical retail.
  • Proven experience working with major optical retail groups, eyewear brands, or international optical distribution networks. Experience with groups such as Kering Eyewear, EssilorLuxottica, or comparable industry leaders is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in acquiring new retail partners, negotiating commercial agreements, expanding store distribution, and driving channel revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of the European optical retail landscape, including retail group structures, purchasing processes, distribution models, and in-store sales operations.
  • Proven ability to improve sell-through and retail performance through staff training, merchandising, sales initiatives, and data-driven management.
  • Experience leading teams and managing commercial targets across multiple European markets.
  • Excellent commercial negotiation, relationship management, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Fluent English required; additional European languages, particularly German, French, or Italian, are a strong advantage.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across Europe to support retail partners and field execution.
