We are working with a leading and rapidly growing professional services firm to recruit a Senior Manager into its Office of the CFO team in Manchester.

This is a broad, commercial position combining financial reporting, outsourced finance, finance transformation and advisory, working directly with CFOs, Finance Directors and senior leadership teams.

The Role:

  • Lead the delivery of outsourced finance and accounting services across a portfolio of clients.
  • Oversee management accounts, statutory reporting and wider financial reporting.
  • Provide commercial insight and advice directly to senior finance stakeholders.
  • Deliver projects across finance transformation, systems, processes and financial controls.
  • Review existing finance functions and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reporting and controls.
  • Lead client relationships and manage projects from initial scoping through to delivery.
  • Support business development and the continued growth of the Office of the CFO offering.

About You:

  • ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified.
  • Experience gained within Accountancy Practice, Outsourced Finance, CFO Advisory or a senior Industry finance role.
  • Strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience.
  • Comfortable working directly with CFOs, Finance Directors and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong project management and client relationship skills.
  • Exposure to finance transformation, systems implementation or process improvement would be advantageous.
