Partnership Delivery Senior Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a Partnership Delivery Senior Manager to join the team at Liverpool FC.

Do you want to play a pivotal role in the Partnership Delivery Team at Liverpool FC, delivering best in class service levels, commercial relationships and activations, whilst driving our reputation and engagement with fans globally?

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager to join the Partnership Delivery Team, and you will be responsible for implementing flexible, partner centric servicing and ensuring strong relationship development and renewal of the key partnerships within your portfolio. You will be supported by a team, and you will lead in objective setting, strategic direction, creative development, and delivery of campaign effectiveness. You will be accountable for ensuring key deliverables are achieved to a high standard and that your team prioritises and communicates transparently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse partnership portfolio, including one Principal Partner and multiple secondary partners.
  • Deliver full 360° account management across planning, activation, measurement, reporting, and feedback.
  • Work with Directors and peers to develop strategic plans that enhance partner servicing and maximise contractual rights.
  • Ensure transparency across the Partnerships Team to align partner objectives and maintain a coordinated activation calendar.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with allocated partners, leading a structured contact strategy including regular calls, video meetings, and face-to-face sessions.
  • Maintain consistent, high-quality communication with partner contacts and develop excellent working relationships.
  • Implement creative, insight-led marketing activation plans that drive measurable ROI.
  • Lead partner reporting, providing data-driven updates on global reach, KPI delivery, and ensuring accurate Cost of Sale documentation.
  • Maintain clear visibility of all partner activations, working closely with the Partnership Experience Team to align delivery.
  • Oversee the onboarding and activation of new partnership deals, collaborating with Directors, Commercial teams, and wider stakeholders.
  • Evolve team ways of working and ensure delivery against key objectives and deadlines.
  • Provide day-to-day line management, offering guidance to ensure best-in-class service from direct reports.
  • Manage team priorities, resources, travel, training, and Cost of Sale budgets across partner accounts.
  • Ensure regular information flow to and from the Directors of Partnership Delivery through structured meetings and status updates.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of partner industries and market trends, working closely with the Insights Team.
  • Support leadership in benchmarking Liverpool FC’s partnership management against global sports and entertainment best practice.
  • Build strong, influential relationships with internal departments across the Club.
  • Participate in Club working groups and steering committees where required.
  • Attend matches, international events, industry gatherings, and partner meetings as appropriate.

Requirements

Who are we looking for?

  • The successful candidate will bring a minimum of five years’ relevant experience at Manager or Senior Manager level within the sports or entertainment marketing industry, gained on the sponsor, agency, or rights-holder side.
  • They will demonstrate strong integrated marketing expertise and a proven track record in account management across multiple clients or partnerships.
  • A solid understanding of digital marketing and emerging industry trends is essential, along with a highly organised, detail-oriented approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Experience working with apparel brands is desirable, but not essential.
