About The Role
This is a unique opportunity to shape how BT Consumer unlocks value from strategic partnerships.
As Senior Manager, Partnership Marketing Strategy & Investment, you will lead the development of a more sophisticated and scalable approach to partner-funded investment across BT Consumer's strategic partner portfolio. Working with some of the world's leading technology and consumer brands, you will identify opportunities to grow investment, improve commercial returns and create stronger partner relationships.
This role goes beyond managing marketing budgets. You will combine commercial thinking, partnership management and marketing expertise to maximise the value of partner investment, create new growth opportunities and establish frameworks that enable long-term success.
As a 12-month FTC, a key objective will be to build sustainable ways of working, governance frameworks and investment models that deliver measurable value and support future growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own the Marketing Support Fund (MSF) strategy across the Partnerships portfolio, ensuring investment is aligned to commercial priorities, customer growth objectives and go-to-market plans.
- Manage the end-to-end MSF investment process, including planning, forecasting, allocation, governance, performance tracking and optimisation of partner-funded marketing investment.
- Drive growth in partner investment by identifying opportunities to secure additional funding, unlock new commercial opportunities and maximise the value of BT's marketing, digital and retail assets.
- Build strong relationships with strategic partners and act as a trusted advisor on investment strategy, marketing effectiveness and value creation.
- Partner with Marketing, Base Management, Digital, Trading and Commercial teams to identify opportunities to improve performance and maximise commercial return from partner-funded activity.
- Develop and embed scalable frameworks, governance models and ways of working that strengthen collaboration between Partnerships and internal marketing teams and create a sustainable operating model for the future.
- Lead the measurement and evaluation of partner-funded marketing activity, using insight and performance data to optimise investment decisions and demonstrate return on investment.
- Create compelling investment narratives and performance reviews that demonstrate value delivered and support discussions to secure additional partner investment.
- Act as the central point of coordination for MSF and partnership investment activity, ensuring clear governance, stakeholder alignment and effective execution across BT Consumer.
- Deliver a sustainable partnership investment framework that creates measurable business value and establishes a clear blueprint for future growth beyond the term of the contract.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
