Job Description

The Senior Campaign Manager for Sage Intacct is responsible for the strategic planning, development, execution, and optimisation of integrated, scalable demand generation campaigns that drive pipeline growth, revenue, and net-new customer acquisition across the UKI region.

This role leads industry-focused marketing programmes across key vertical markets, working in close partnership with Sales, Product Marketing, Revenue Operations, Digital Marketing, Content, PR, Customer Marketing, and external agencies. The role is responsible for delivering measurable business outcomes through a data-driven, customer-centric, and AI-enabled marketing approach.

The successful candidate will leverage modern marketing technologies, AI-powered insights, intent data, predictive analytics, and automation platforms to improve campaign performance, accelerate buyer journeys, and increase marketing contribution to revenue.

As a people leader, this role will coach and develop a high-performing team while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement.

Location - Hybrid, 3 days per week in the Newcastle or Winnersh office.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and own the integrated campaign strategy for the Sage Intacct medium segment portfolio across multiple industries and regions.
  • Translate business growth objectives into measurable marketing plans that drive awareness, demand, pipeline and revenue.
  • Build audience-centric, account-based, and industry-specific campaigns aligned to key buyer personas and buying groups.
  • Partner closely with Sales leadership to align campaign priorities to territory, account and pipeline objectives.

AI-Driven Marketing Excellence

  • Leverage AI-powered marketing tools and technologies to improve campaign planning, audience targeting, content effectiveness and operational efficiency.
  • Use predictive analytics, intent data and behavioural insights to identify in-market demand and optimise campaign performance.
  • Champion adoption of Generative AI and Copilot technologies across the team to enhance productivity, content development, campaign execution and reporting.
  • Ensure responsible and compliant use of AI technology in line with company governance, privacy and brand guidelines.
  • Drive experimentation using AI-assisted optimisation, testing and personalisation techniques.

Demand Generation & Campaign Execution

  • Design and oversee multi-channel campaigns leveraging digital, social, paid media, email, webinars, events, syndication, sponsorships, partner marketing and account-based marketing approaches.
  • Deliver targeted, multi-touch customer journeys that engage prospects throughout the full marketing and sales funnel.
  • Collaborate with Content, SEO, Paid Media, Social, PR and Creative teams to deliver compelling customer experiences.
  • Continuously optimise campaigns based on performance insights, buyer behaviour and market dynamics.

Revenue & Performance Management

  • Own campaign performance against key demand generation metrics including:
    • Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs)
    • Sales Accepted Leads (SALs)
    • Pipeline Creation
    • Opportunity Generation
    • Revenue Influence
    • Customer Acquisition
    • Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI)
  • Monitor and analyse campaign effectiveness using dashboards, attribution models and advanced reporting tools.
  • Use data-driven insights to make investment decisions and continuously improve marketing outcomes.
  • Present performance recommendations and business impact to senior stakeholders.

Team Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of marketing professionals, creating a culture of performance, innovation and accountability.
  • Support career development, succession planning and capability building within the team.
  • Establish clear OKRs and performance expectations aligned to business priorities.
  • Encourage adoption of modern marketing practices, technology and AI-enabled ways of working.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships across Sales, Revenue Operations, Product Marketing, Digital Marketing, Finance, Customer Success and Executive Leadership teams.
  • Influence senior stakeholders through insight-driven recommendations and strategic planning.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert in demand generation and campaign marketing.
  • Ensure alignment and effective collaboration across regional and global teams.

Budget & Agency Management

  • Manage significant campaign investments and quarterly budget allocations effectively.
  • Optimise spend across channels to maximise business impact and return on investment.
  • Lead agency relationships, ensuring delivery of work that meets quality, timing and commercial expectations.
  • Negotiate with media partners and vendors to secure optimal packages and performance outcomes.

Marketing Operations & Technology

  • Partner with Revenue Operations and Marketing Operations teams to ensure campaign measurement, attribution and tracking frameworks are robust.
  • Drive adoption and optimisation of marketing technology including CRM, marketing automation, intent platforms and analytics tools.
  • Identify opportunities for workflow automation and process improvement to increase efficiency and scalability.
  • Maintain high standards of campaign governance, compliance and data quality.
