Role purpose

Lead Brompton’s global earned reputation and public affairs agenda, making the brand more visible, relevant and influential while protecting trust in the business. This role turns Brompton’s purpose, products, people and point of view on urban life into stories and advocacy that travel across markets, build cultural relevance and create measurable commercial and corporate impact.

The opportunity

Brompton is a British design and engineering icon with a global community and a clear purpose: to create urban freedom for happier lives. We are looking for an ambitious communications leader ready to step into a broad, visible senior role and shape how Brompton shows up in the world.

Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Global Head of PR & Public Affairs will set the global strategy, lead major announcements and campaigns, advise senior leaders, and create a more proactive global communications engine. The role combines consumer and corporate PR, executive positioning, reputation management and practical public affairs. It will suit someone who brings pace, judgement and initiative; can move confidently between strategy and delivery; and knows how to mobilise colleagues and agencies rather than wait for a brief.

Key responsibilities

Global PR strategy and reputation

  • Define and deliver a global PR and reputation strategy aligned with Brompton’s business priorities, brand platform and growth markets.
  • Build a compelling, always-on global narrative spanning brand, product, innovation, craftsmanship, community, sustainability and the future of mobility in cities.
  • Create a proactive news and storytelling pipeline that earns attention beyond product launches and establishes Brompton as a distinctive voice in culture and urban mobility.
  • Set clear global guardrails, message frameworks and market priorities while enabling locally relevant execution.
  • Monitor reputation, media and cultural trends; identify opportunities and risks early and turn insight into action.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
