Senior Manager - SRM, Procurement Ops & P2P
£65,000 to £75,000 | 20% bonus | Private healthcare | Enhanced pension contribution | plus many more benefits | Global Insurer with presence across UK, SA, EU and USA | SW London - 1 to 2 days a week onsite
This is a lovely, brand new role working for a well-known Global Insurance Business to manage all of SRM, P2P System Management & Improvements and Procurement Operations, leading a team to ensure risk, governance and commercial value is at its most efficient and effective.
The role has significant influence over strategic supplier relationships, supplier performance, and value delivery across the supplier lifecycle. The role sets the standards and operating model for SRM, providing leadership, oversight and direction to ensure suppliers deliver against business, operational, commercial and risk objectives.
The role also provides leadership for Procurement Operations, P2P, Purchasing and Third Party Spend governance activities, ensuring effective supplier onboarding, renewals, purchasing processes, operational controls and spend governance across the supplier lifecycle.

Role and Responsibilities
- Identify, track and deliver measurable value, innovation and continuous improvement opportunities through strategic supplier relationships.
- Lead supplier relationship strategies for strategic and critical suppliers.
- Develop and maintain supplier account plans and relationship roadmaps.
- Drive supplier innovation, continuous improvement and value creation initiatives.
- Ensure supplier objectives remain aligned with business priorities and transformation goals.
- Support commercial and operational value optimisation across strategic supplier relationships.
- Monitor supplier delivery against contractual obligations and business expectations.
- Track supplier-generated value, innovation and efficiency opportunities.
- Lead Procurement Operations and Purchasing Administration activities.
- Own operational service delivery, workloads and procurement escalations.
- Oversee supplier onboarding, purchasing administration and supplier renewal processes.
- Monitor Procurement operational performance, KPIs and service levels.
- Ensure Procurement processes are effective, efficient and compliant with Procurement Policy.
- Accountable for overall operation of the Third Party Spend Forum, including prioritisation, procurement recommendations and action delivery.

Experience and Requirements:
- Significant experience leading Supplier Relationship Management, Strategic Supplier Management or Vendor Management functions.
- Experience in managing, improving and developing a P2P systems, and integrating it into a business
- Experience managing strategic and critical suppliers in a complex organisation.
- Strong supplier governance, supplier performance and executive stakeholder management experience.
- Proven experience building or maturing SRM frameworks and operating models.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to influence supplier and stakeholder outcomes.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional supplier improvement initiatives.
- Experience in P2P operations and understanding purchasing processes and operations.
- Operational resilience and outsourcing governance knowledge.
- Regulatory or financial services experience.
- Experience supporting audits or regulatory reviews.
