Job Description

What is the opportunity?

As the Senior Manager – Product Owner, Entity & Network Analytics Platform (Quantexa), you will own the business-product strategy, roadmap and outcomes for the entity & network analytics platform (Quantexa) that supports financial-crime investigation — enabling investigators to explore entities, relationships and networks as part of their casework. This platform is one of several within a broader investigations tooling portfolio, and you will own it as its dedicated product owner — starting with a significant platform upgrade. You will lead the business ownership of that uplift, defining what "good" looks like, prioritizing capabilities, and working hand-in-hand with a dedicated Agile delivery team to bring it to life. They must combine strong product ownership with a solid grasp of financial-crime investigations and the governance and regulatory realities of a regulated platform, ensuring the platform delivers real value to investigators and analysts while meeting the needs of line-of-business stakeholders.

What will you do?

  • Own the product vision, roadmap and prioritized backlog for the platform (Quantexa), sequencing capabilities against risk, value and the upgrade timeline.
  • Collaborate daily with the Agile delivery team throughout the upgrade — participating in sprint planning, refinement, reviews and retrospectives, and providing clear direction and acceptance criteria for the work.
  • Act as the empowered decision-maker on scope, priorities and what is released for the platform, balancing scope, time and delivery constraints.
  • Own the business definition of how the platform is used for investigations — the entity and network views, workflows and analytics investigators rely on, and how platform outputs are consumed in the investigative process.
  • Validate delivered increments against acceptance criteria and business value, and adjust priorities as needs evolve through the upgrade.
  • Ensure platform changes move through appropriate change control and that platform outputs meet the quality and evidence standards required for regulatory defensibility.
  • Partner with investigators and analysts across all financial-crime functions to ground the platform in real operational needs and drive adoption of upgraded capabilities.
  • Work within the broader investigations tooling portfolio — coordinating with the portfolio lead and other platform / product owners so the platform composes with the wider toolset rather than duplicating it.
  • Partner with Model Risk Management, technology and data functions on delivery, validation and ongoing monitoring of platform outputs.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
