About The Job
Based within the Operations Finance Department in London, the Senior Manager, Projects Finance is responsible for ensuring the smooth financial transition of opening hotels and takeovers, supporting hotels facing performance challenges, and helping to maintain a strong control environment across the global portfolio. The role has global scope and reports to the VP Projects, Operations Finance.

- Reviewing feasibility projections and assessing and approving various ROI and financial projections.
- Assisting hotels with pre-opening budgets and cashflows, opening bank accounts, and obtaining owner funding where applicable.
- Working with Group Treasury to ensure MOHG maintains correct control of bank accounts.
- Conducting due diligence for takeover hotels, including appraisal and action planning for existing finance teams.
- Providing guidance and on-site assistance to hotels experiencing performance issues, including active on-site support for challenged hotels with no DOF or finance department issues when required.
- Partnering with Internal Controls to identify and remedy control deficiencies, and assisting hotels with CSAQ compliance and the preparation and completion of ARM audits.
- Acting as an advisor and mentor to the DOF community, including onboarding and buddying new Directors of Finance.
- Resolving accounting issues as necessary and providing remote finance support across the portfolio.
As Senior Manager, Projects Finance, We Expect From You
- Total ownership and self-sufficiency, with commensurate experience and character.
- A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a relevant field.
- Expert knowledge of hotel operating procedures and systems, including hotel finance systems, procurement systems, property management systems, and POS systems.
