Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest.

About the People Team:

The People team helps Affirmers cultivate a high-performing, inclusive organization. We focus on three core areas: attracting talent aligned to our mission, enabling growth through people and team development, and retaining employees through thoughtful experiences and rewards. We develop Affirm’s people programs and systems to create a workplace where all employees can thrive and contribute meaningfully. What You’ll Do:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters by setting clear expectations, providing thoughtful feedback, and fostering a high-performing, inclusive team culture
  • Own the recruiting strategy for EMEA, aligning regional hiring plans with business priorities and building the capabilities needed to support Affirm's continued international growth
  • Partner with Technical and cross-functional leaders to translate hiring plans into scalable hiring strategies across teams and geographies
  • Influence Director and VP-level stakeholders through recruiting data, market insights, and strategic guidance to inform hiring decisions, build alignment, and proactively mitigate talent risks

  • Collaborate closely with Talent Brand, Talent Operations, Compensation, and other People teams to deliver a seamless, consistent hiring experience
  • Build trusted relationships with senior leaders through transparent communication, thoughtful partnership, and proactive talent advice
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve recruiting processes to increase efficiency, scalability, and the candidate experience

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
