Description
The Senior Manager, Regional Marketing and Global Events is responsible for delivering the company’s global events program and executing the regional marketing calendars across EMEA and Continental Europe.
This hands-on role manages assigned events, campaigns, and regional programs from planning through execution, follow-up, and reporting. The Senior Manager will coordinate Sales, cross-functional marketing teams, agencies, vendors, and partners to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
The successful candidate will be highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, resilient, and comfortable working with sales leaders, executives, customers, and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Global Events and Regional Marketing Delivery
- Deliver the company’s global portfolio of conferences, trade shows, executive events, customer programs, roundtables, webinars, and digital events.
- Execute the agreed regional marketing calendars for EMEA and Continental Europe.
- Turn approved priorities into clear execution plans with defined deliverables, owners, budgets, timelines, and success measures.
- Coordinate campaigns, opportunity-based and account-based marketing, partner programs, customer activities, workshops, sales enablement, content initiatives, and field events.
- Manage project plans, budgets, vendors, logistics, readiness, onsite execution, follow-up, and program closeout.
- Identify risks, resolve blockers, track deadlines, and escalate issues when required.
- Ensure regional programs align with company strategy while remaining relevant to local markets and audiences.
Cross-Functional and Commercial Execution
- Act as the primary execution owner for assigned campaigns and events.
- Coordinate Content, Creative, Growth, Digital, Social, Communications, Product Marketing, Marketing Operations, Analytics, agencies, and vendors.
- Provide clear briefs, deadlines, responsibilities, and feedback to contributing teams.
- Partner with regional Sales and BDR teams to confirm target audiences, account priorities, participation, meetings, outreach, and follow-up.
- Ensure each program has clear commercial objectives and defined next steps.
- Maintain accurate CRM setup, tracking, reporting, and stakeholder updates.
- Track performance against agreed measures, including attendance, engagement, meetings, leads, target-account participation, opportunity progression, follow-up, and budget.
- Communicate confidently with executives, customers, prospects, partners, speakers, and industry stakeholders.
- Maintain momentum and accountability across teams without relying on direct reporting authority.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Significant experience delivering regional marketing, field marketing, event marketing, or integrated B2B marketing programs.
- Demonstrated experience executing conferences, trade shows, executive events, customer programs, roundtables, webinars, and digital events.
- Broad practical understanding of campaigns, content, digital marketing, sales enablement, customer marketing, partner marketing, reporting, and lead management.
- Strong project-management experience with responsibility for taking programs from plan through completion.
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines, contributors, and dependencies simultaneously.
- Experience working closely with enterprise sales teams and executing marketing activity against regional, account, and opportunity priorities.
- Experience coordinating agencies, vendors, contractors, and cross-functional project teams.
- Strong budget-management, organizational, and operational skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a consistent record of delivering accurate, high-quality work.
- Proactive working style with the ability to anticipate needs, follow through on commitments, and resolve issues.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
- Based in Europe, preferably England, Ireland, or Western Europe.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the insurance, insurtech, financial-services, or enterprise-software industry.
- Experience delivering marketing programs for complex technology solutions and large enterprise audiences.
- Familiarity with long, consultative B2B sales cycles and opportunity-based or account-based marketing.
- Experience working across multiple European markets and cultures.
- Experience with Salesforce, marketing-automation platforms, project-management tools, event platforms, and reporting dashboards.
