We deliver projects to uplift capabilities, work with organisations to meet regulatory requirements, develop operating models and programme roadmaps, and prepare organisations to be resilient against a wide range of risks and threats.

As a Cyber and Technology Resilience Architect within Deloitte's Cyber practice, you will play a pivotal role in helping our clients build, test, and mature their cyber and technology resilience capabilities. You will leverage deep technical expertise and strategic insight to design, implement, and assure robust resilience solutions, across a specific client industry (either financial services or a corporates subsector, i.e. TMT, Consumer, ER&I, or LSHC). This role demands a blend of technical acumen, client-facing leadership, and a commitment to driving innovation in a rapidly evolving threat landscape.

Your responsibilities

Your responsibilities will evolve with your grade, encompassing a blend of technical delivery, client engagement, business development, and internal practice development. As a Cyber Resilience Solution Architect, you will be primarily working with clients to design, architect, and implement the following key solutions:

  • Advanced enterprise-wide backup and recovery solutions
  • Automated failover and recovery
  • Resilient cloud-based architecture and design (multi-region, multi-cloud, cloud native, DRaaS)
  • Data centre architecture, engineering and supporting technologies
  • ZTNA Networks
  • Container, Cluster and Load Balancing

For each of these solutions, specific projects are likely to include:

  • Requirements Definition & Solution Architecture: Lead the detailed gathering and analysis of client business and technical requirements to define comprehensive cyber resilience solutions and develop robust solution architectures and designs.
  • Technical Implementation & Deployment: Drive the end-to-end technical delivery lifecycle, including hands-on configuration, implementation, and deployment of complex cyber resilience solutions.
  • Testing & Validation: Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including functional, performance, and resilience testing, to validate solution effectiveness and recoverability. This includes designing and leading recovery exercises and simulations.
  • Operational Integration: Embed implemented solutions within the client's operating environment by defining, documenting, and implementing recovery processes, operating models, and runbooks, ensuring seamless integration into day-to-day operations.
  • Knowledge Transfer & Handover: Facilitate effective knowledge transfer and ensure a smooth handover of solutions to client operational teams, providing necessary training, documentation, and ongoing support mechanisms.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
