Team Overview
As Senior Manager, Revenue you'll take ownership of Revenue planning, forecasting, analytics and strategic insights that support commercial decision making across UK & Europe. This is a highly visible role that works closely with Sales, Solutions and Finance Leadership. You'll bring insight, challenge and strategic thinking to help drive decision making and accelerate growth. You'll transform and optimize the way we do things, and develop a high-performing team to deliver timely insight-driven financial outcomes that support the group’s long-term goals.
This role reports into Nicola Whaley, the Financial & Planning Director. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
- Lead Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the end-to-end revenue forecasting process, delivering accurate and insightful projections.
- Process & Systems Optimization: Champion best practices, leverage latest tools, and transform & simplify revenue models & processes to improve forecasting methodologies and accuracy.
- Month-End & Reporting Excellence: Ensure accurate, timely month-end deliverables and drive improved visibility of revenue performance through dashboards, KPIs, and reporting packs.
- Commercial Deal support: Provide financial input, challenge and scenario modelling for new commercial deals and support pricing decision-making through margin analysis and P&L impact assessment.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Operate as a strategic partner across Go-To-Market (Sales), Solutions, Finance and Executive teams, proactively managing communication and timelines with UK & European stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
- Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of senior finance professionals, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture across multiple locations.
- Finance Leadership Collaboration: Work closely with Finance leadership to drive initiatives that make Finance a great place to work.
Required Knowledge And Experiences
- A proven leader who inspires, coaches, and develops high-performing teams.
- A qualified accountant with strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on financial expertise in FP&A, commercial finance or revenue analytics in a complex or fast paced environment.
- Deep understanding of revenue modelling, forecasting methodologies and key commercial metrics, with a high degree of commercial acumen and a proactive, curious mindset.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills to engage senior stakeholders and drive alignment.
- A growth mindset champion who thrives on change, encourages innovation, and experience of building resilience within the team.
- A strong sense of accountability, with a flexible and strong work ethic.
