What is it all about?

The Senior Manager will be part of the Finance Revenue Operations organization within the Controllership team and will be working closely with other Finance teams, the business unit leaders, and the Technology teams. The role is part of a team responsible for executing business initiatives, driving process improvements, and problem-solving for client billing and their related transaction queries.

We are currently investing significantly in our back-office processes and systems. The person will spearhead and support the delivery of significant key projects, process enhancements, foster thought leadership, establish best practices, and ensure global alignment of our processes. They will support the delivery of complex integration activities, ensuring that appropriate processes, systems, and controls are in place and are globally aligned and standardized.

What We Expect Of You, Day To Day

  • Lead a team of Analysts, ensuring delivery of end-to-end order to cash tasks and processes including those for newly Acquired entities
  • Lead and deliver projects and revenue integration including those for newly Acquired entities
  • Lead process simplification and alignment of policies and processes
  • Ownership of aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes while implementing and maintaining adequate mechanisms and forums for reviews, decision-making, and escalations with management. This includes journal review and approval, BS reconciliations, and BS flux analysis
  • Support the team to identify, evaluate, and resolve billing issues in collaboration with Technology, Finance Systems Strategy, product owners, and clients
  • Review and challenge existing processes and documentation and ensure continuous process improvements are met by designing, documenting, and executing optimal end-state processes
  • Ability to work independently, usually within a complex and changing environment, to meet operational deadlines
  • Communicate effectively and proactively with all levels of management and articulate ideas and recommendations clearly
  • Lead and nurture talent within the team and across the wider organization

This is a 12-month fixed contract - maternity cover till 31/12/2027

Visa requires at least 3 days in the office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

What we're after...

  • Solid work experience in finance, revenue operations
  • Strong understanding of financial and operational controls in a high-volume transactional environment, with a heavy reliance on IT systems
  • Strong experience of leading and developing a team of people, with the ability to support the team to plan and prioritize and meet competing deadlines
  • Demonstrated experience of improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma, BPR, BPM) and a proven track record of applying them in either a project or continuous improvement environment
  • Strong influencing and interpersonal skills, honed in a demanding and high-performing work environment
