Senior Manager – Scope & Requirements

Hybrid based from either Derby, Manchester or Warrington

We anticipate a salary between £71,000.00 - £93,200.00 DOE

Our mission is to deliver clean, affordable energy for all. Our Small Modular Reactor (SMR) provides a British solution to a global energy challenge. We are in a unique position to become a world leader in SMR technology and one of the UK's most significant clean energy and export success stories.

The Project Management Office (PMO) plays a critical role in enabling disciplined, predictable and effective programme delivery across Rolls-Royce SMR. Working at the centre of our integrated programme controls capability, the team establishes the frameworks, governance and assurance processes that provide confidence in delivery, support informed decision-making and help manage complexity at scale.

In this context, we are looking for a Senior Manager - Scope and Requirements to join our PMO, reporting to the Head of Integrated Programme Controls.

This is a highly visible role that will shape and mature our enterprise-wide scope, requirements and change management capability, ensuring critical programmes are delivered with clarity, control and confidence while helping to power the future of clean energy.

We will need you to:

  • Lead and continuously improve our scope and requirements management framework, standards and governance approach across projects, programmes and portfolio activities.
  • Establish clear traceability between requirements, scope, assumptions, risks, delivery baselines and decision records to support effective programme control.
  • Oversee the Change Management Framework, ensuring proposed changes are assessed, governed, approved and implemented in a controlled and auditable manner.
  • Partner with Engineering, Commercial, Finance, Risk, Delivery and Programme teams to ensure scope and requirements are managed as an integrated system that supports successful delivery outcomes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
