What It's All About
Based in a key Visa Europe hub, this role supports Visa Europe’s 37 markets and is a critical component to future growth. You will join the Small Business team within Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS), focused on accelerating SMB revenue and strengthening Visa’s SMB solutions and propositions.
Embedding payment capabilities into B2B SaaS platforms is a critical growth lever for Visa’s SMB business, enabling payment capabilities to be integrated directly into the software and workflows small businesses use every day. It is a key pillar of VCS’s 2030 strategy, and this role will define and execute the go-to-market strategy to capture value across this high-potential segment.
You will collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to build compelling propositions, equip sales teams and scale solutions across Europe. Occasional travel for client meetings and industry events will be required.

Key Responsibilities
- Commercial strategy and ownership: Define and execute the go-to-market and commercial strategy for the B2B SaaS platform segment. Identify and engage relevant strategic vertical and horizontal SaaS platforms, understanding their payment capabilities and ambitions in depth, and how Visa can support.
- Client solutioning: Lead strategic pitches and co-creation sessions, translate client needs into product requirements, and partner with Solutioning teams on detailed technical design.
- Go-to-market enablement: Own the segment narrative, sales collateral, marketing and training, ensuring market teams are equipped to position and scale the proposition.
- Subject-matter expertise: Provide specialist guidance on SMB solutions, Visa product rules, operating risks, pricing and client opportunities.
- Market intelligence: Translate market and client insight into product optimisation and readiness, aligning European priorities with global roadmaps.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of the SMB ecosystem, including the roles of banks, financial institutions, software platforms and B2B payments providers.
- Knowledge of relevant SMB payment solutions, including virtual cards, accounts payable and receivable solutions, and APIs.
- Experience in a product, proposition, solutioning, commercial or technology role serving SMB clients.
- Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills, with credibility across clients, partners, cross-functional teams and senior leaders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, commercial judgement, self-direction and accountability.
- Collaborative mindset and a strong track record of effective cross-functional working.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within an SMB software provider, ISV or relevant ecosystem player, such as an accounting, ERP, e-invoicing, accounts payable or accounts receivable platform.
- Fluent English; another European language is advantageous.
