Role Overview
At Sanity.io, we’re building the future of AI-powered Content Operations. Our AI Content Operating System gives teams the freedom to model, create, and automate content the way their business works, accelerating digital development and supercharging content operations efficiency. Companies like SKIMS, Figma, Riot Games, Anthropic, COMPLEX, Nordstrom, and Morningbrew are using Sanity to power and automate their content operations.
In this role you'll own EMEA as your region: full remit over the Solution Engineering team's success, working as a player-coach who hires, develops, and holds the bar on how the team runs discovery, demos, and evaluations, while getting hands-on in the highest-impact deals across the region. You'll own execution of Sanity's core presales motions — discovery, tailored demos, POVs, and architecture/security reviews — coaching SEs to run them with consistency and to connect Sanity's value drivers to real business outcomes, not just features or functionality.
You'll partner closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing across EMEA, reporting into and collaborating with the Sr. Director of Solution Engineering on strategy and priorities. You'll also make sure your team is set up to win with the presales toolkit — demo environments, collateral, evaluation guides — iterating and building where you see gaps for your region.
We care about the impact we make for our customers, and we show up as a consultative partner in every interaction to support their success. If this is how you operate, this role is for you.
What you would do
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of Solution Engineers across EMEA — hiring, ramping, and running regular 1:1s and deal reviews.
- Get hands-on in the team’s highest-impact opportunities, from discovery through close, modelling the behaviours you want your team to run.
- Execute and reinforce Sanity’s established presales motions (discovery, demos, POVs, architecture/security reviews) with consistency across the team, rather than defining new ones.
- Coach SEs to translate technical capability into business outcomes for developers, architects, product leaders, and content teams.
- Evangelise and drive consistent use of AI tools — for call prep, faster POC/demo environment setup, and turning discovery notes into follow-up docs — to cut cycle time without sacrificing quality.
- Own regional forecasting and pipeline hygiene for presales involvement, and report on team performance and technical win rates.
- Partner with Sales leadership, Product, and Marketing in EMEA, and route field feedback up to the Sr. Director of Solution Engineering.
- Make sure your team is set up to win with the presales toolkit — demo environments, collateral, evaluation guides — iterating and building where you see gaps for your region.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About you
- Experience managing or leading a Solutions Engineering / Presales team in B2B SaaS, ideally selling highly technical, composable, headless, or API-first platforms — CMS, DXP, or adjacent tools in the modern content stack.
- Strong technical foundation: comfortable discussing APIs, data models, front-end frameworks, integrations, and modern architecture patterns.
- Track record of improving team performance through coaching, hands-on deal support, and consistent execution of an established presales process.
- Clear, inclusive communicator who can flex from deep technical detail to executive-level value narratives.
- Experience selling developer-facing, composable, or API-first SaaS platforms — content management, digital experience, or similar tooling in the modern content stack.
- Familiarity with content workflows, editorial tooling, or digital experience stacks.
- Collaborative leadership style with high integrity and a bias toward developing others.
- Fluent with AI-based tools across your technical work — evaluations, architecture conversations, research, day-to-day productivity — and able to bring that fluency to how the team operates.
