Senior Manager Strategic Commercial Delivery

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Manager Strategic Commercial Delivery.

This role sits within Asset Management Internal Wholesales Global team and focuses on turning strategic priorities into implemented capabilities and measurable in-market outcomes. Working across Internal Wholesales and the wider Asset Management and IWPB teams you’ll translate global initiatives into tangible improvements across commercial growth, sales effectiveness and simplification. You’ll connect executive priorities with frontline activation by shaping delivery plans and ensuring adoption and benefits realisation. The role also owns executive reporting for key forums including update to the AM OpCo and Board. Success looks like clear governance, decision-useful reporting and consistent execution across markets that improves sales, revenue and client engagement.

In this role you will:

  • Represent Internal Wholesales across strategic partnerships and global initiatives to convert priorities into implemented capabilities and measurable impact
  • Oversee cross-functional strategic programmes from design through implementation, adoption and benefits realisation across global and market teams
  • Set clear delivery plans for strategic priorities including milestones, resource needs, adoption requirements and measurable outcomes
  • Govern execution across concurrent initiatives by managing dependencies, timelines, ownership and escalation of risks and issues
  • Own management reporting and updates for Internal wholesale, to the AM OpCo, Board and senior forums including concise briefings, papers and communications
  • Coordinate action tracking and execution reporting for key Internal Wholesales commercial forums and workstreams
  • Champion the Internal Wholesales simplification agenda to improve efficiency, effectiveness and customer outcomes
  • Strengthen performance tracking and actionable MI by working with Sales Performance and stakeholders to turn data into execution actions

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Show established experience in Asset Management or Wealth Management
  • Bring substantial commercial execution and programme delivery experience in a matrix environment
  • Demonstrate delivery of strategic initiatives or transformation programmes with accountability for adoption and benefits realisation
  • Apply strong commercial acumen when translating priorities into in-market outcomes across growth, sales effectiveness and efficiency
  • Influence senior stakeholders through clear communication and crisp, decision-useful updates for executive forums
  • Build practical governance routines including reporting, steering cadences and action tracking that translate decisions into owned actions
  • Use performance tracking, dashboards and data interpretation to prioritise actions and improve commercial results
  • Partner effectively across functions including Sales, Product, Marketing, Finance, Operations and Controls to deliver shared outcomes
