Job Description

Role Purpose:

The role of Senior Manager, Strategic Deal Insights & Process Excellence in the CI Deals Finance team is to provide in-depth analysis, executive level insight and subject matter expertise in respect of the performance of incentive agreements, and the profitability of clients while leveraging AI to enhance the overall process.

  • Analyse key client deal performance against targets, forecasted volumes, and associated revenues to determine the net profitability of clients' Visa business.
  • Develop high-impact deal reporting and executive briefing documents for senior stakeholders, including global decision-making forums (EDR and GPIC), contributing to strategies that drive client profitability.
  • Serve as the subject matter authority on deal insight reporting, driving improvements in the speed, quality, and strategic value of deal decision-making across Client Incentive Deals.
  • Report directly to the Senior Director, Head of Deals MI, Governance and Process Improvement, and present to senior executives on deal performance, client profitability, and AI initiatives to enhance executive-level insights.

Key Accountabilities

Deal Performance Analysis & Reporting:

  • Lead analysis and reporting on client contract performance using GARP, assessing deals against business case plans in partnership with client engagement teams.
  • Analyse net yields and client profitability across portfolio dimensions (domestic vs cross-border, CNP, regulated markets) to identify opportunities to enhance profitability.
  • Communicate financial risks and upsides to decision-makers; provide commercial insight for new deals, challenging modelling assumptions to ensure robust projections.
  • Deliver European yield analysis and reporting on yield compression to EDR (Regional President, European CFO, GCMs).

AI-Driven Process Improvement & Automation

  • Design and implement AI-driven solutions to eliminate inefficiencies across MI workflows, from deal structuring to post-deal tracking.
  • Oversee automated deal reporting to deliver insights to senior leadership; drive step-change improvements in executive-level reporting for EDR and GPIC.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
