Senior Manager, Strategic Planning & Portfolio Management
Hertfordshire | Hybrid Working
Up to £110,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
An industry-leading international consumer business is seeking a high-calibre Senior Manager, Enterprise Strategic Planning to play a pivotal role in shaping and executing long-term business strategy across multiple markets.
This is a high-profile position operating at the intersection of strategy, operations, and commercial delivery. Working closely with senior leadership, you will be responsible for turning ambitious growth objectives into actionable business plans, ensuring alignment across functions, and maintaining visibility of strategic priorities across the organisation.
The Opportunity
You'll lead the strategic planning agenda across a complex, fast-moving business, bringing together stakeholders from multiple functions to drive alignment, investment decisions, and execution.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading enterprise-wide strategic planning and long-range business planning cycles
- Developing and maintaining multi-year strategic roadmaps
- Coordinating senior stakeholders across Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, Marketing, and Operational teams
- Establishing governance frameworks to monitor progress against key strategic initiatives
- Supporting executive leadership with insights, performance reviews, and strategic decision-making
- Identifying risks, opportunities, and dependencies across a portfolio of business-critical programmes
- Driving consistency in planning processes across international markets
- Ensuring strategic priorities are translated into clear, measurable deliverables

About You
We're looking for a proven strategic planning leader who has operated within large-scale, complex organisations and is comfortable influencing senior stakeholders across multiple functions.
You'll likely bring:
- Experience within a large FMCG, retail, consumer goods, foodservice, or similarly complex international business
- A background in Strategic Planning, Enterprise Planning, Corporate Strategy, Transformation, or Integrated Business Planning
- Demonstrable experience leading planning cycles across multiple business functions
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at Director and Executive level
- Experience working across multiple regions or international markets rather than solely UK&I
- A track record of translating strategy into tangible operational plans and business outcomes
- Excellent analytical, communication, and executive presentation skills
