About Dune Advisors
We are a boutique management consulting firm specializing in providing strategic advisory, transformation and deal execution support to clients across Life Sciences, CPG and Manufacturing. Based in the UK, our team works closely with large global organizations to drive impactful change through conceptualization, design, and implementation of company-wide Transformation programs and Transactions. We pride ourselves on delivering innovative, result-oriented solutions and are seeking an experienced Strategy and Data Analytics lead to join our team and support high-impact transformation engagements.
The Role
You'll own the analytical engine behind our most important client engagements, turning messy, complex data into the clarity that drives executive decisions. You'll lead work across strategy, operating model design, and commercial performance, building the dashboards, models, and narratives that move organisations from diagnosis to action. Your role is to define the questions that need asking and translate that into what data / information needs to be sourced. This isn't a back-office analytics role. You'll be in the room with senior / executive stakeholders asking questions, shaping recommendations and driving implementation. It's an opportunity to do work that influences outcomes, embeds change, and build the analytics muscle in our growing firm.
You'll be based in London, working from the office 3-4 days a week.
What you'll do
- Work directly with clients and internal teams to frame business problems and design the right analytical approach to solve them.
- Lead end-to-end data analysis, extraction, transformation, modelling, and cleansing across large, multi-source datasets to support commercial and operational decision-making.
- Structure, analyse, and synthesise large and complex datasets to generate actionable insights that inform client strategic decisions.
- Translate analytical findings into sharp, actionable recommendations and develop executive-ready materials that maintain momentum through complex transformation programmes.
- Conduct deep-dive industry, market, and competitive analyses, including market sizing, growth projections, benchmarking, and financial modelling.
- Manage end-to-end delivery of analytics and strategic projects, ensuring high-quality outputs and timely milestones.
- Partner effectively with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Apply a broad range of analytical methodologies, including valuation, financial statement analysis, customer segmentation, and performance diagnostics.
- Build and optimise Power BI dashboards and reports that give clients a clear, real-time view of performance.
- Contribute to the development of new insights & analytics products, tools, and best practices.
- Present meaningful insights and solutions to senior stakeholders with clarity, structure, and conviction.
- Foster a collaborative, curious, and high-performance team culture.
- Identify opportunities for up-sell and cross-sell within existing accounts.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
