Senior Manager – Supply Chain & Engineering - Physical AI
Location: London
Career Level: Senior Manager (CL6)
Salary: Competitive, plus benefits.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Manager - Physical AI Leader to join our UKI Supply Chain and Engineering Data and AI team. This is a rare opportunity to sit at the convergence of Data and AI, physical operations, and supply chain reinvention, shaping how industrial and operational enterprises move from reactive, siloed systems to intelligent, autonomous and physically aware value chains.
You will bring deep expertise in applied AI spanning data engineering, machine learning, computer vision, robotics integration or industrial IoT, combined with a strong appreciation for how physical supply chain, manufacturing and operations environments work. You will lead the design and delivery of Physical AI solutions that connect Digital Twins, AI agents, orchestration engines, robotics and operational systems to real-world assets, processes and decision-making. In doing so, you will enable more intelligent, increasingly autonomous physical operations and help clients understand and realise the transformative potential of AI in their physical operations.
This is a senior, client-facing role requiring both technical credibility and the ability to communicate vision and value to executive stakeholders. You will build and lead high-performing teams, originate new opportunities and be a recognised voice on Physical AI within the practice and the market.
Why this role
Join a practice at the leading edge of value chain and AI transformation. You will have the platform to shape a distinct and fast-growing Physical AI and agentic operations agenda, work across some of the most complex industrial and operational environments in the UK and internationally, and draw on Accenture's global AI research, technology ecosystem and delivery capability. You will be closely connected to Accenture's broader Data & AI organisation, leveraging our global hubs, Centres of Excellence, assets and offerings while helping to shape and scale our UKI proposition in this space.
In this role you will:
- Physical AI and agentic operations leadership: Help define and lead the UKI point of view on Physical AI and the agentic enablement of physical operations, including autonomous systems, vision AI, robotics and cobotic integration, Digital Twins, AI agents, orchestration engines and AI-driven asset and process intelligence, embedding this across client engagements and propositions.
- Client advisory: Act as a trusted senior adviser to COOs, VPs of Operations, Chief Digital Officers and Supply Chain leaders, translating Physical AI potential into practical roadmaps, investment cases and operating model change.
- Solution design: Lead the design of end-to-end Physical AI and agentic operations solutions, connecting Digital Twins, AI agents, orchestration engines, robotics and operational systems—from data infrastructure and model development through to edge deployment, integration with OT and IT systems, and operational adoption—to support decision-making and increasingly autonomous operations.
- Delivery leadership: Sponsor and lead complex, multi-disciplinary programmes spanning data science, engineering, operations technology and organisational change, maintaining focus on value realisation and client outcomes.
- Commercial growth: Originate and shape opportunities across industrial, consumer goods, energy, life sciences and other asset-intensive sectors; lead proposition development, value case design and executive engagement.
- Ecosystem and capability: Work closely with Accenture's broader Data & AI organisation and global network of hubs and Centres of Excellence, leveraging and contributing to our assets, offerings and delivery capabilities to shape and scale a differentiated UKI Physical AI and agentic operations proposition. Collaborate with technology partners including NVIDIA, Microsoft, AWS, Siemens, Rockwell and others to bring differentiated Physical AI capabilities to clients, while building the AI and data talent pipeline within the Value Chain practice.
- Thought leadership: Publish, speak and represent Accenture's Physical AI and operational intelligence agenda externally, building market profile and practitioner community.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
