Senior Manager Supply Chain Quality
The Role
The Senior Manager Supply Chain Quality is responsible for leading the quality strategy across the supply chain, ensuring that suppliers, materials, and manufacturing processes consistently meet business, customer, and regulatory requirements. The role focuses on driving supplier quality performance, managing quality risks, leading continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex quality challenges. As a senior leader, you will develop and strengthen supplier partnerships, oversee audit and compliance programmes, implement best practices, and champion a culture of quality and operational excellence to support business growth, customer satisfaction, and the achievement of strategic objectives.
What You Will Be Doing...
- Qualify, evaluate, and develop suppliers through audits, assessments, and regular performance reviews.
- Analyse supplier quality, delivery, and performance metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall performance.
- Lead and coordinate structured problem-solving activities (such as 8D) to resolve supplier-related quality issues in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Initiate, implement, and monitor quality and process improvement programmes to improve supplier performance and product quality.
- Conduct supplier audits, training sessions, and qualification activities related to quality management, lean manufacturing, and product-specific requirements.
- Build and maintain strong strategic supplier relationships to support business objectives and contribute to the company's zero-defect strategy.

About You
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Quality Management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, tools, and methodologies, with recognised auditor training or certification.
- Fluent English & German language skills (minimum C1 level).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills, with a willingness to travel as required.

Ein Senior Manager Lieferkettenqualität (m/w/d) verantwortet die Qualitätsstrategie entlang der gesamten Lieferkette und stellt sicher, dass Lieferanten, Materialien und Fertigungsprozesse die Anforderungen des Unternehmens, der Kunden sowie regulatorische Vorgaben erfüllen. Der Schwerpunkt der Rolle liegt auf der kontinuierlichen Verbesserung der Lieferantenqualität, dem Management von Qualitätsrisiken sowie der Steuerung von Verbesserungs- und Compliance-Initiativen. In dieser Führungsfunktion arbeiten Sie eng mit internen und externen Partnern zusammen, entwickeln nachhaltige Lieferantenbeziehungen weiter, leiten Auditprogramme und fördern eine Kultur der Qualität und operativen Exzellenz, um Unternehmensziele, Kundenzufriedenheit und langfristigen Geschäftserfolg sicherzustellen.

What You Will Be Doing...
- Qualifizierung, Bewertung und Weiterentwicklung von Lieferanten durch Audits, Assessments sowie regelmäßige Leistungsbewertungen.
- Analyse von Qualitäts-, Liefer- und Leistungskennzahlen sowie Ableitung, Umsetzung und Nachverfolgung geeigneter Verbesserungsmaßnahmen.
- Leitung und Moderation strukturierter Problemlösungsprozesse (z. B. 8D) bei qualitätsrelevanten Abweichungen in enger Zusammenarbeit mit Lieferanten und internen Fachbereichen.
- Initierung, Umsetzung und Überwachung von Qualitäts- und Prozessverbesserungsmaßnahmen zur nachhaltigen Steigerung der Lieferantenleistung und Produktqualität.
- Durchführung von Lieferantenaudits, Schulungen und Qualifizierungsmaßnahmen zu Qualitätsstandards, Lean-Methoden und produktspezifischen Anforderungen.
- Aufbau und Pflege strategischer Lieferantenbeziehungen zur Unterstützung der Unternehmensziele und der Null-Fehler-Strategie.
About You
- Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Maschinenbau, Mechatronik, Elektrotechnik oder einer vergleichbaren technischen Fachrichtung.
- Mindestens 5 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Qualitätsmanagement, idealerweise in einem produzierenden Industrieumfeld.
- Fundierte Kenntnisse gängiger Qualitätsmanagementmethoden sowie eine abgeschlossene Auditorenausbildung.
- Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift (mindestens Niveau C1).
- Ausgeprägte analytische, kommunikative und organisatorische Fähigkeiten sowie eine hohe Reisebereitschaft.
