About Interpath
Joining Interpath Advisory means joining a dynamic and talented team of exceptional professionals who bring innovative thinking, commercial insight, and a natural curiosity to the work they do every day. With no two days the same, we are looking for people who are excited by the opportunity to help shape a growing global business and deliver outstanding outcomes for clients.
No one type of person succeeds at Interpath. A diverse business requires a range of personalities, perspectives, and experiences, strong teamwork, and a passion for client success. There really is a place for you here.
Our Tax Services team is looking for an experienced Tax Senior Manager to lead and grow our UK Corporate Tax and Transaction Tax. The role will involve advising clients on complex tax matters, leading high-profile transaction engagements, developing long-term client relationships, and driving business development initiatives across the practice. The successful candidate will work closely with Managing Directors and senior stakeholders to support the continued growth of Interpath's Tax Services business.
Free from audit conflicts, our tax practice benefits from Interpath's expanding client base and market reach. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including owner-managed businesses, corporate groups, companies in distress / insolvent private equity-backed companies, and large multinational organisations.
This is a leadership role offering significant responsibility for client delivery, team development, revenue generation, and the strategic growth of the Tax Services practice.
Key Accountabilities
As a Senior Tax Manager you will lead engagements rather than simply run them. You will own a portfolio of clients and engagements end to end: scoping and pricing them, planning them backwards from the deadline, resourcing them at the right grade, owning both the quality of the output and the financial result, and being the client's senior point of contact throughout.
You will act as Engagement Leader on your own portfolio, review the work of Managers, Senior Associates, and below, and perform the final review before sign off from Managing Directors on more complex advisory and transaction work. You will also take a leading part in developing the team's technical strength and in winning new work.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
