About the role
We're looking for an experienced technology and consulting leader to head our UK-based Technical Solutions team and partner with some of the leading wealth management organisations across the EMEA region.
This role sits at the intersection of client consulting, solution architecture, and delivery leadership. You'll lead strategic discovery engagements, advise clients on how best to leverage GBST's technology, and shape solution outcomes that support their long-term business objectives.
As a trusted advisor, you'll engage with senior client stakeholders to understand business challenges, provide technical and commercial guidance, and design scalable cloud-based solutions that deliver measurable value. You'll then work closely with our global teams to ensure those solutions are successfully transitioned into delivery and implementation.

Key responsibilities will include
- Lead discovery and strategic consulting engagements across EMEA
- Advise clients through business and technology transformation
- Facilitate workshops to define requirements, resolve challenges, and agree future-state solutions
- Translate business objectives into scalable solution designs using GBST SaaS platforms and APIs
- Guide implementation strategies, integrations, and technical decisions
- Lead and develop Technical Managers and Senior Technical Consultants, building a high-performing, client-focused culture
- Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Delivery to move from design to execution
- Manage utilisation, forecasting, delivery priorities, and regional stakeholder relationships
- Set consulting best practices to ensure consistent quality and exceptional client outcomes.
Skills & Experience Required
You’ll bring consulting expertise, technical leadership, and commercial judgement, building trusted relationships at all levels. We’re particularly interested in candidates with:
- Led client-facing consulting, solution design, or technical advisory engagements in Wealth Management, Financial Services, FinTech, or SaaS
- Experience partnering with senior business and technology stakeholders to shape transformation programs and technology strategies
- Strong discovery and requirements gathering, translating complex business needs into practical technology solutions
- A track record leading technical consulting, pre-sales, professional services, or solution architecture teams
- Experience designing and implementing cloud-based SaaS solutions
- Strong knowledge of modern software engineering and cloud technologies, ideally AWS
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, confident with executive audiences
- Commercial awareness balancing client outcomes, delivery objectives, and business growth
