EPAM is looking for an experienced, hands-on Senior Manager, Technology Consulting – Digital & Solution Architecture (Retail/CPG) to join the Technology Consulting Practice of our Consumer and Services Business Unit in London.
In this position, you will guide multinational Retail and Consumer Packed Goods (CPG) clients in shaping digital strategies, translating business goals into enterprise and solution architectures, driving solution design and identifying AI-driven opportunities. You will build transformation roadmaps that unlock measurable value and provide strategic guidance on modern technology adoption. The first engagement requires expertise in mobile technologies and the ability to quickly develop new domain knowledge to support clients confidently.
The role involves working in a hybrid working mode with regular travel to client sites in Paris, typically 2–3 days every two weeks.
Responsibilities
- Lead technology consulting engagements for retail and CPG clients, driving digital strategies and transformation initiatives
- Facilitate workshops to capture requirements, define business goals and translate insights into actionable solution roadmaps
- Conduct current-state and target-state architecture assessments across data, AI and cloud landscapes to identify gaps and modernization opportunities
- Define enterprise and solution architectures including end-to-end integration, capability mapping, legacy modernization and omnichannel strategy
- Lead technology selection processes including evaluation of digital, mobile and commerce platforms aligned to client objectives
- Own detailed delivery planning and program architecture including QA (development, testing, stabilization), deployment and change management
- Build and oversee implementation roadmaps ensuring governance, risk control and system integration strategies
- Advise senior stakeholders on emerging technologies such as AI, GenAI, personalization, automation and cloud-native architectures
- Support pre-sales efforts through contributions to solution proposals, architecture documentation, estimations and delivery approach
- Mentor EPAM and client teams fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing and adoption of technology best practices

Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience
- Fluent in French and English with strong client-facing communication skills for engaging senior level stakeholders
- Experience performing technology consulting, solution architecture or enterprise architecture in complex environments
- Strong knowledge of Retail and CPG technology ecosystems including digital commerce, mobile applications and omnichannel solutions
- Experience in digital architectures covering AI, data platforms and cloud migration strategies
- Proven ability to translate business KPIs and processes into scalable enterprise and solution architectures
- Strong understanding of architecture principles for integration of complex systems and modernization initiatives
- Ability to design and drive robust technology roadmaps, ensuring quality delivery and alignment with client objectives
- Experience leading or facilitating workshops, defining technical strategies and preparing transformation programs

Nice to have
- Expertise in mobile application architecture for retail environments
- Experience designing and executing digital transformation strategies within consulting or advisory roles
- Familiarity with omnichannel retail, composable commerce and supply chain technologies such as order-to-cash or procure-to-pay
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure or Google Cloud alongside secure, resilient architecture design principles
- Background in identifying and implementing AI or GenAI use cases across customer journeys, operations or business workflows
