Join EY and help to build a better working world.

At EY, you’ll have the chance to build a career as unique as you are, with the global scale, support, inclusive culture and technology to become the best version of you. And we’re counting on your unique voice and perspective to help EY become even better, too. Join us and build an exceptional experience for yourself, and a better working world for all.

EY believes a better working world means addressing big, complex issues to deliver outcomes that grow, optimise and protect our clients’ businesses. The world is constantly changing, creating abundant opportunities and significant risks for government, public and private sector organisations. In Transformation Architecture, we help our clients see their future and define their purpose, and then we design, lead and deliver end-to-end transformations to realise this ambition.

The opportunity

Ireland’s energy and utilities sector is facing unprecedented change as it transforms to meet global sustainability challenges and ambitious objectives set by government. EY is supporting clients across the sector to navigate these challenges, helping them plan for and deliver a resilient and sustainable future.

This is a leadership opportunity within our growing Energy & Utilities team. You will play a key role in bringing EY’s sustainability and transformation capabilities to clients across the island of Ireland and internationally. Working with some of the sector’s most prominent organisations, you will help clients address complex strategic, operational and transformation challenges.

You will develop and strengthen relationships with key client accounts in line with our go-to-market priorities, shape innovative solutions to client challenges and lead multidisciplinary teams in delivering meaningful outcomes. Most of your time will be spent working closely with clients, helping to bring the best of EY’s services and capabilities to market.

This role requires a commercially focused individual who is experienced in business development, comfortable operating at scale and passionate about developing people and growing teams. You will contribute to strategic decision-making regarding client development, business growth and capability expansion within the practice.

If you have a keen interest in being part of a growing Consulting team in Ireland together with the intellectual curiosity and energy to help shape the future of the energy sector, EY could be exactly the right place for you.

Your key responsibilities

As a Senior Manager in Transformation Architecture, you will:

  • Demonstrate strong commercial experience within the energy sector in Ireland or internationally.
  • Build trusted client relationships that drive long-term value and sustainable outcomes.
  • Leverage your own network and EY’s network to develop and strengthen client relationships and generate new opportunities.
  • Create high-quality client deliverables and act as a subject matter specialist across one or more areas of the energy sector.
  • Apply your expertise to shape innovative solutions to complex client challenges.
  • Deliver clear and concise communication to internal and external stakeholders, including facilitating workshops and delivering presentations.
  • Lead, manage and empower multidisciplinary teams across complex engagements.
  • Develop thought leadership that supports business development, engagement delivery and EY’s market profile within the energy sector.
  • Build strong internal relationships across service lines and competencies to bring the best of EY’s capabilities to clients.
  • Support business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the practice.
  • Drive continuous improvement in business processes and champion quality and risk management across engagements.
  • Act as a role model for Quality & Risk Management (Q&RM), ensuring project teams understand and comply with EY standards and guidelines.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
