As a Senior Manager Treasury Advisory

You will liaise directly with your clients to deliver treasury advisory projects, drawing on your own expertise and identifying when additional input is required from other colleagues and subject matter experts across the business. Your role will include leading business development activities, including with alliance vendors and banks, contributing to the team's growth and success.

Description

Deliver treasury transformation, risk management, technology, and advisory projects across a diverse client base.

  • Review and implement treasury strategies, policies, target operating models, cash management frameworks, and treasury systems.
  • Lead treasury technology and TMS selection, implementation, configuration, and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Conduct treasury risk assessments covering FX, interest rate, credit, and commodity exposures.
  • Provide technical expertise on derivatives, hedge accounting, financial instruments, and treasury-related accounting matters.
  • Support statutory and internal audit engagements as a treasury subject matter expert.
  • Advise clients on regulatory and accounting developments, including IFRS 9, IFRS 18, and ISO 20022.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, banking partners, and technology vendors.
  • Contribute to business development activities, thought leadership, market engagement, and proposition development.
  • Lead presentations, workshops, and client-facing marketing initiatives.
  • Coach and develop junior team members, supporting their performance, growth, and career progression.
  • Play an active role in shaping team strategy, operations, and the continued growth of the treasury practice.
  • Maintain relevant professional qualifications and apply current industry knowledge and best practice.

Profile

A Successful Senior Manager, Corporate Treasury Advisory, Should Have

  • Experience working in a Corporate Treasury function with good technical knowledge of financial instruments, risk management, treasury strategies, systems, governance and controls.
  • Experience working within a treasury or accounting advisory function of a professional services firm/corporate business sector.
  • Experience with treasury technology solutions and systems, including AI.
  • Experience of managing teams, coaching and mentoring junior staff.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills; able to communicate complex matters in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Highly effective stakeholder management and relationship building skills; credible and confident with stakeholders at all levels.

Job Offer

Competitive salary ranging from £90,000 to £110,000, dependent on the level of experience.
