About the team Our Energy, Transition and Environment business unit is pioneering meaningful change in the clean energy revolution. Our vision is to accelerate the transition to net-zero emissions and drive efficiencies for a new era of utility companies. We believe that the responsible, and intelligent, deployment of AI is critical to the success of this mission. We partner with a wide range of clients - from major energy operators, to GreenTech startups, and national infrastructure providers - to build solutions which return measurable impact and move us towards a smarter, cleaner, and more sustainable world. About the role
As a Senior Manager at Faculty within our Energy Transition & Environment team, you will drive impactful AI transformations across the energy and utilities value chain, including major infrastructure owners (energy and water), renewable energy providers and energy suppliers/traders.

You will operate with high autonomy, balancing your time between overseeing high-stakes project delivery and leading strategic business development. What you'll be doing:

Managing the delivery of complex, large-scale AI programmes for prominent clients across the energy and utilities value chain. Balancing your priorities across hands-on project delivery and proactive/reactive business development. Leading competitive tender or sales processes independently under the light direction of a Director. Advising clients on AI strategy and technical implementation, engaging confidently in wide-ranging business and technical discussions (with support from a technical team) Navigating ambiguous settings flexibly by willingly stepping outside your core job description to support a growing team. Supporting wider business efforts to ensure maximum strategic flexibility and commercial impact.
Who we're looking for:
You bring a strong background in consulting and client management, typically gained through experience in medium to large-sized consultancies. You possess a broad understanding of the energy value chain, with demonstrable experience working for relevant players (for example, but not limited to: utilities, suppliers, traders, policymakers/regulators), either directly or via consultancy. You possess sufficient technical nous to engage confidently with clients and internal teams on data science/engineering concepts and AI applications. You understand the commercial consulting delivery model, allowing you to focus on account growth and project oversight, together with delivery management. You possess the flexibility to support broader Senior Manager work and embrace an entrepreneurial approach to a highly visible portfolio. You thrive in ambiguous settings and demonstrate a structured approach to problem-solving and delivering high-quality, high-stakes projects.
