Senior Manager - Salesforce Specialists
Salary: Up to £110,000 + 20% Annual Bonus
Location: UK Based (Remote / Hybrid)
The Opportunity
Yolk Recruitment is supporting a leading international organisation within the life sciences sector in the search for a Senior Manager, Sales Operations to join their growing Clinical Packaging division.
This is a strategic leadership role where you will be responsible for driving data-led commercial decision making, optimising sales processes, and ensuring the business has the reporting, systems, and insights needed to support continued growth across global markets.
Working closely with senior commercial leaders, finance teams and business stakeholders, you will take ownership of Salesforce governance, executive reporting, performance analytics, and sales operations strategy. You will also play a key role in building a scalable global sales operations function and developing capability within the wider team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the administration, governance and continuous development of Salesforce, including workflows, validation rules, fields, page layouts and system enhancements.
- Ensure CRM structures support commercial objectives, pipeline visibility, forecasting accuracy and KPI reporting requirements.
- Support future CRM and ERP integration projects alongside wider data architecture initiatives.
- Produce and own monthly performance reporting, executive dashboards and quarterly board-level reporting packs.
- Develop meaningful insights from complex datasets to support strategic decision making.
- Maintain high standards of pipeline management, forecasting discipline and CRM data quality.
- Drive process improvements and standardisation across sales operations activities.
- Act as a trusted business partner to senior sales leadership and regional business teams.
- Facilitate performance review meetings and support commercial planning activities.
- Mentor and develop team members, promoting best practice across sales operations processes and systems.

What We're Looking For
Essential Experience
- Advanced Salesforce expertise, including configuration, administration and governance.
- Significant experience within Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, Commercial Finance or Business Analytics.
- Degree qualified in Business, Finance, Analytics or a related discipline.
- Strong background in reporting, dashboard development and performance analytics.
- Experience producing executive-level reporting and presenting business insights to senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear commercial recommendations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience within Clinical Trials, Clinical Packaging, Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences or a related sector.
- Experience working within a global organisation across European and North American markets.
- Knowledge of CRM to ERP integrations and wider data architecture projects.
- Exposure to private equity-backed environments.
- Experience using Power BI or other advanced visualisation tools.

You will be a commercially minded Sales Operations leader who combines strong technical capability with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Comfortable working independently, you will proactively identify opportunities for improvement and bring structure, insight and leadership to a growing global function.
You will be equally comfortable configuring Salesforce, analysing commercial performance, and partnering with business leaders to help shape future strategy.
