Each venue features independent street food traders, multiple bars, a coffee shop, and a central plaza centered around a stage with daily live entertainment. Role Description
The Senior Manager role at STACK Leisure is a full-time, on-site position based in Wigan. This role oversees day-to-day venue operations, including managing staff, coordinating food, beverage, and entertainment activities, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. The Senior Manager collaborates with traders, bar and coffee shop teams, and entertainment partners to maintain a vibrant, safe, and well-organized environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring performance metrics, managing budgets, supporting marketing initiatives, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and licensing requirements. The role also involves building strong relationships with local businesses and community stakeholders to support STACK’s mission of celebrating local culture and driving economic impact.

Qualifications
- Experience in leisure, hospitality, or venue management, overseeing daily operations and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong leadership, people management, and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate and develop diverse staff groups.
- Proficiency in budgeting, financial reporting, and performance monitoring to meet commercial goals.
- Skills in stakeholder management, including working with traders, suppliers, entertainment providers, and community partners.
- Knowledge of health and safety, risk management, and licensing regulations relevant to leisure and hospitality venues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest experience and conflict resolution.
- Ability to plan and coordinate events and live entertainment schedules in a dynamic, high-traffic environment.
- Comfort with using digital tools and systems for scheduling, reporting, and venue operations.
- Previous experience in multi-venue or large-scale leisure environments is beneficial.
- Relevant professional qualifications or education in hospitality management, business, or a related field are an advantage.
